Not since the Amy Winehouse compilation of songs in her Grammy winning 'Back To Black' album, have I been this impressed by a presentation of a group of songs. Lyrically, they are all 'to die for', and the 'deep', profound lyrics are definitely on par with Amy's classic album. Amy stayed in the 'Jazz/R&B' lane for her album, whereas Angelina veers into an array of 'multi - genres' for this 'EP'.

Like the general consensus that LDLMG is about love itself not a person, I’m inclined to believe that this concept may also apply to the heartfelt lyrics of breakup, heartbreak, acceptance, growth and empowerment delivered over the course of the EP. It is truly a spectacular journey; even more so if this is all based on concept rather than experience! Either way a stunning debut.

It's less about the art or skill; sometimes when I hear a popular song I think the hook or melody is so dumb (e.g. "Life goes on" by Oliver Tree --> Hook: on, and on and on, and on, and on, and on...), but apparantly that works and the song wins "gold" and "platinum" status.
