Great guide, but when he explained righty tighty, I knew I didn't need it. Old boy dropped knowledge so smoothly I thought "wouldn't hurt to be prepared" and stayed anyway.
I have one of these, I use it on the extreme end of the intended use for it. Apparently the belt from the factory on ones made a few years ago was superseded and replaced with a different part number. I haven't changed my belt yet, but apparently they work much better with a new belt. The new belt should be a 3L440. Word is that the mower works better than new when the new proper length belt is used. I'm thinking the stock belt was not the proper size as in too long, and then it stretches making it even worse. The adjuster on the handle doesn't have enough range to cover the slightly too long stock belt and the cable stretch after a couple years of use is what I figure the issue is.
I need to know what parts it takes to put the belt on and what tipeof pulleys I will need lol I need you to sow me a demonstration of how to put it back together and what parts I need
What kind of pulley do you need to put the belt on and otherparts you need like spacer and the other stuff bc someone has took the pulleys off and I don't know what I need to put it back together
Getting your hand up to slide that belt under that plate is a pain - especially if you are in the back 40 of your acreage. (I take my tools with me - vs - dragging the machine back to the house). There is also that cable manual tightener that can help with the over slack
Mine just popped off. Thanks for the video, brother.

These are simply great machines and are easy to fix and get parts for 😊. I agree with you’ll it only needs a belt every 5 years
Is there any way to remove the slop from the belt? I have about 2 or 3 hours on my unit and my belt has popped off at least 5 times.

If you do not have any drive pulleys, you'll need to contact the manufacturer for possible replacement parts or contact a parts vendor for help.
Thank you beautiful souls ❤
