I will ALWAYS miss DG…but out of the 3 drummers I’ve seen them try out, this guy is happenen….
I was a drummer in high school and college and go all the way back with TOP. DG was my idle. We will miss him. But this guy is smokin and has the chops to handle the permanent gig. Sign him up !

@@thomasmoran1533 listen to Ronnie Beck with Chester Thompson then listen again to Pete Antunes during the trio portion of Squib Cakes and tell me that they do not sound like a jazz organ trio....Garibaldi never sounded like a jazz organ trio during Squib Cakes....just sayin!
@@thomasmoran1533 you are an impressive drummer but i disagree....listen to him drive Adolpho and Politzer's solos....give him a little time and we can continue the conversation!
@@thomasmoran1533 just a taste....very exagerated comment....this time i concur....but i find it hard that you do not hear the positves that i stated in my comments pertaining to sound the band is bringing out with the set list that continues to relatively stay pat!
@@thomasmoran1533 you make great points....i hear much of what you are saying....but there is a swinging driving style although not pure it is really pushing the band in a new way which is what i an enjoying....i am digging the solos a lot more....glad they went with him it has been quite boring listening to the same song set list for so many years and the music has a freshness again....anyways let's give it a few months and see how it evolves with both Pete Antunes and Jordan John!

See NO reason why they shouldn't Hire this fellow on the Drums, Permanently. I know there are a few other choices...but, as long as he 'did the work'...to Sub here....His playing is Spectacular, and thus...... just bring him in!

He is no longer with TOP. He left i think in December 2023. He is still teaching and playing from what I understand. He just retired from the Million Gig march!

Adolfo is okay but I heard better trumpet solos from Greg Adams , Sal Cracchiolo, Mic Gillette….
I have to agree. Adolfo has been with TOP a long time now. Always thought he was "acceptable"......never spectacular.
