- Quite a few people suggest this song!
Dave was again quite impressed with the band's performance.
Thanks for the great suggestion Forsain 45, Tobbish, Muse Born, Cathy Aldridge and Michael Briefs!
Matt is the main song writer, composer, music arranger, lead guitarist, vocalist, pianist
Don’t forget about bass player lol he’s very talented
Très fort in génie Matt
Matt writes all the song except for the 2 Chris did on 2nd law
Lol he was confused with the keyboard player. Matt plays guitar and piano. They have an additional musician who plays Keyboard called Morgan Nichols
Morgan been with them for most of their Tours. Whereas most bands chop & change with backing musicians. Something about Muse, all the pieces stay together. Best band in the world, especially live
Morgan the fourth Muse 😁
Literally a modern take on Queen. Musically talented, anthemic songs, rock/pop melt.
My chemical romance was the opening act of their concert on wembley , matt tried to study classical music but he finds it difficult to read sheet music, so he just tries to listen to piano/classical pieces and transcribe it then he fuses it into a song
Dave says "He's very talented!"
"I think this guy's the Phantom of the Opera.. Jesus Christ... Superstar." made me burst out laughing.
My god this is one of the best live performances ever. Thank you for your great reactions Dave
Don't know if this will be seen, but it was confirmed somewhere that Matt is self taught with piano. He listened to his nan who played the piano herself, and began to play in his own time when he had the chance, using her playing as reference. He's an all rounder, he plays, sings, and writes. Talent manifested.
I was present at this gig. The ending to the piano when the smoke comes out was actually edited. They repeated the last part 3 times for a messy ending to the piano which is what they did at Glastonbury 2004 as well
Fun fact, Matt has said in interviews this song is the hardest for him to play live because of that complicated piano piece in the middle. Also, I love how Dave's reaction so often is just "Jesus," which...yeah. Sometimes that's all you can say about Matt Bellamy lol.
Great reaction, I was at that gig, I think that was my 3rd Muse concert, 15 and counting
Even Muse seem to shy away from this one, maybe just too difficult to play to their standards (let alone anyone else's). I can only imagine the performances that are only in people's memories, but at least this one's in the vault. The entire DVD is jaw-dropping over and over again.
I saw them years ago at Earls court before they became world recognised.
They played all of my favourite songs like i was listening to the album. I know people like to hear variation at a concert but the precision was incredible. It was like playing a cd at home but with everything live. It was absolutely phenominal.
No, they do not have difficulty playing any of their songs.😄
@Daniel Crockett Earl's Court 2004, the Xmas miracle of a concert... unreal 🙏
Dave..... Matt only has two hands ya know. He can't play keyboard and guitar at the same time. Well, maybe he could? Anyway, thanks of the great reaction. Loved it.
I can tell Dave appreciates Muse, please check out "Hysteria" and "Bliss"
Hysteria is on our list already but I have added Bliss! Thanks for the suggestions!

Love your Muse reviews! Thank you!!
Awesome performance one of my favourite live ones from them thanks for reacting.
I always interpret the Piano as the Butterflies contrasting the Hurricane of the guitars and drums.
Matt is influenced by Rachmaninoff, as you can probably hear
i like this guy channel is he still going ,he cracks me up .

Muse Always Rock, Matt is an Amazing Musician Dom and Chris are Great Too.
Everything we've seen so far has been so impressive!
I think that bit of piano interlude is a piece by Rachmaninoff.
Megalomania at the Royal Albert Hall!

Hi GT! Let me know which performances!
@@samechick I did not get a notification for this 😭. The Groove would be the live performance from the released dvd for the Absolution album if possible. And Fury any live is good. Thank you.
Hey GT! Here is Dave's reaction to Fury (live at the Wiltern) ua-cam.com/video/XYKfnyT_08M/v-deo.html thanks for the suggestion =)
if you like nostalgic 80s feel please react to Algorithm form their album by the same name. it's a beautiful rendition of all that is associate with the 80s in film . the whole album invokes the greats of that era. e.g. Queen Prince Michael Jackson etc.
Adding it to the list! Thanks MB!

Awesome! dude is truly a one man band. I just want to see how he rocks a didgeridoo. Anyhoot, here's another cool track from the band amorphis Dave can give a shot to ua-cam.com/video/QP5BxIwLuZ8/v-deo.html
Piano solo is heavily influenced by rachmaninoff. I’m a sucker for classically trained musicians
Why don't you think aren't as big as they should be? Because they're not ingrained in the system perhaps.
I'll ask Dave what he thinks, but I'm of the opinion that the music industry is pay to win here. Look what passes as hit music here today. It's shameful.
@@samechick yea that's probably true, only manufactured or artists willing to sell their souls only seem to make it big.
