I am from Assam and let me clear. If you don't have enough documents then you have to bring only 2 peoples who know you for a particular period of time and their names must be there in the list. So if you can't show anyone who know you then who are you? Nothing to worry guys.

@rashid kaleem No because it is legally sound argument. Article 14 has a clause of intelligible differentia. That is unequals cannot be treated equally. This is the same reason why SC/STs/OBCs are given reservation to address historical injustice done to them by upper caste people. Those 6 non-Muslim religious groups do not enjoy the same constitutional privileges since those 3 countries are theocratic States with state religion of Islam. They have faced historical injustice over the course of last 70 years due to which they are being given preferential treatment of 5 year relaxation in naturalisation process.
@rashid kaleem I am personally against NRC but I support CAA. Because NRC will affect our own citizens. However CAA only provides relief to the persecuted people.
@rashid kaleem India has accommodated Rohingyas in Bengal and Kashmir. Within a span of 11 years they will be made Indian citizens through naturalisation because of General Asylum Law. No Indian is losing anything due to CAA. Having said that NRC will create havoc because there are lot of people in tribal areas and hinterland of our country who don't have any documents. We may end up stripping citizenship of our own people. CAA by itself is not a problem but CAA in Combination with NRC makes NRC super dangerous.

Parsi's are included in CAA now Parsi's originally belong to Iran (state religion) many parsi's still live in iran and there they are persecuted
now let's say Two parsi's come to india on the fear of being persecuted one from pakistan one from iran
for pakistan's parsi - CAA grants citizenship in 5 year period but for parsi coming from Iran S/he will have to wait 11 years before applying for citizenship.
now the question is
how come a law is treating two individuals who are similarly placed differently? This is called violation of article 15, 21
@@94pranjalshukla parsi from pak is kept for 11yrs but not 5yrs. Besides we are looking at the safety of the country in regards to welcoming these people into our country. That's the main reason y they are carefully dealing with certain religion, I don't have to give examples that happened in India just in case I'll give you one among those Mumbai bomb blast.

Hindus and Muslims from Sri Lanka aren't coming to India for being Persecuted for religious reasons but for other reasons and that matter has already been settled and the refugees are going back.
Afghanistan is a destination for many nomadic tribes to and from India and historically has been a part of Ancient India, hence it's also been included....

The problems faced by Muslims will also be faced by Hindus who aren't able to provide proper documents... CAA doesn't give any Hindu any citizenship by default as they have also to prove that they come from PAB before 2014..

5 questions for every one
1.
If Bharatbarsha was partitioned based on religion, then why India is labelled secular, instead of a hindu rashtra. Where as the other parts have become !slamic countries. Bharatbarsha supplied 2 more countries to the grand 150+ list of countries for a specific sect.
When 2 brothers of a family split up, do any one of them makes his part of ancestral home a dharmshala/inn, open for any passer-by. Today India is an inn where anybody can come and stay if they can procure fake documents. Even rohingyas can, if they have financial means to procure one.

If Israel can become the default and only country for jews , then why not there should be a separate and only country for hindus. Persecuted hindus from other countries can take citizenship here.

If Secular Bharatbarsha before 1947, got divided based on religion and density of people of certain religions, then today India is again a secular country with dis -proportionate population density based on religion. So can India be partitioned again, if some new league demands again. Is there any provision/amendment in constitution that says India can not be bifurcated again , based on religion ?
4.
How sherbat/juice is made ? You put fruit extract in water and prepare. What happens if you put the same amount of fruit extract in more water? A taste less preparation. To taste it better you have to make sure you don't add unnecessarily more water.
Now think the govt scheme and beneficiaries as your fruit extract and water as the population of the nation. More influx of illegal migrants like rohingya is making the whole welfare set up fragile for the country. They are eating up the resources which were meant for the true inhabitants of the nation.

India is country of sanatan dharma, which has a long history of tolerance. Even after 75 years of independence why the people who stayed here agreeing to follow the rule of the land, finding it tough to gel with. Penchant for sharia rule, love jihad , gazwa-e-hind creates suspicion among the true inhabitants. When owner accomodates a rentee , the rentee needs to abide by the law, right ?
Indian green card holder in US has to follow the rule of the land.
Need only logical answers to these questions from so called secular champions of our nation.

Then u can view nehru liyakat pact....which says minorities in both the countries will be treated good.. But Pakistan didn't kept their end of bargain.. N even in 1956 or 1966 it was pointed in Parliament itself that how Pak is committing atrocities on minorities... Then in 1998 last religious demographic counting it was clear tht population of minorities has declined from 21.4% to 1.6%.. After tht there is no such records.. N every day we hear about forced conversions in Pakistan... Then.. In 2004 there is parliament speech of MMS that... There are no provisions to provide citizenship to religiously prosecuted minorities...so...it should be done as soon as possible... So how can the stand of same party change... U can look for this speech on internet... Or.. Read an article about liayaqat nehru pact in Indian express or something.... Ultimately... The citizenship laws are in hand of the Govt acc to art 11 of the constitution.. They can give citizenship to whoever they want n with whtever basics they want to... Baaki u should look in internet... Google about nehru liyakat n 1955 n permit system.. N all... U will have a lot more information to actually support it rather than opposing...(also I hv used this trick many a times to debunk many people who just oppose or support for the sake of just supporting or opposing n dnt hv good knowledge of the subject matter..)

Watching today after almost 2 years of CAA, and it seems govt. was right to bring this law (after Taliban killing Sikhs and Sikhs leaving Gurudwara wet eyed, Bangladesh targetting and burning Hindu temples, pakistan slapping Blasphemy on Hindu minorities . I was kind of neutral but now I am supporting this CAA & NRC as well.

Foreigners should receive no special privileges or special entry, Hindu or not. If a nation has a problem with it's minorities criticise them and create global attention on the issue but taking responsibility of millions of immigrants and cleaning up minority-issues of other nations at the cost of our tax payers dime while we have so much fixing of our own to do, is utter foolishness. We need a proper demographic consensus and refugee regulatory law, not strategic immigration-boom to solve the illegal immigration issue.
My take:
It is well known that Shias and Ahmadis supported Jinnah in creation of Pakistan. Jinnah declared that all Muslims will live in the new country like brothers. Now, after these many years if Shias and Ahmadis are persecuted in Pakistan, why not carve out a separate country out of Pakistan which may be called Shiastan and all Shias can migrate to Shiastan from Pakistan. 3.What exactly will be done to those who failed to prove citizenship who are
a) Non-Muslims but failed to prove that they are from the 3 Islamic countries. Will u assume that they are Indians?

4.What are the documents required for NRC to prove citizenship? The govt must come clear with all the rules and regulations.

1)its the minimum 5 years to grant citizenship in this amendment reduced from 12 to 5 forced in this case not in other cases
2)nationwide NRC is not yet implemented and required documents is not yet finalized in short it is not active.
3)a & b there is no official announcement but my opinion is that if they provide proof of living in india for 5 years( including witness from 3 indian citizen as said by amit shah in an interview) will be granted by indian citizenship.
4)same answer its not yet finalized for whole country.
