- The controversial CAA/NRC debate has divided the entire nation with polarising views. There are hundreds and thousands of protestors on the streets protesting against this amended act. In the midst of it all, we have decided to bring two opposing views together. A dialogue is a two way street and can lead to more clarity when posed with such a dilemma i.e. the CAA/NRC. We hope that both parties, whether in support or denial, would take the time to listen to the other and take no offence!

@Light Morningstar I will not go into debate about CAA but student protesters first started all of this, they though stone on police, fired bus, bikes then police retaliate. Police gone inside college campus because they want to give students some lessons that we can also fight back if they didn't stop.
Media covered only police brutalities but they didn't properly shows sstudents or civilians attrocites on polices force.
That situation was same as like in kashmir.

I am not rightist nor leftist,but I feel that CAA is constitutional and there's nothing wrong in it..
It was real idea of Nehru way back in 1950s. And I didn't mention it because it was mentioned by PM modi in parliament.
If you read books or biography of 1950s or 1960s then they clearly mention that minoirty community in neighboring countries can come home without any proof or documents. That means CAA was on the card back then, but anyone didn't come up with that time.
CAA is not real problem.
Debate should be about NRC but left parties completely diverted this to CAA+NRC+NPR.
I am also disappointed with govt. Govt set aside their ego and should talk with protesters, explains them CAA.

Both of them were equally factual. But Deepanshu made a point which i thought was quite irrational. He said hindu population in Pakistan and Bangladesh is declining rapidly. Agreed. Then he said that in India, Muslim population is increasing. But that last point is rather irrelevant. The real equivalent to that satistic is that Rohingya population is steadily decreasing and so is ahmadiyas and Shias in Pakistan. They're are just as likely to get killed as Hindus. Yet they're barred from entry.

Preamble mentions liberty of thought, expression, faith, belief and worship.. This line makes India panth nirpeksha and also a non theocratic state.. It was there before secular word was explicitly added.. Also while framing constitution India didn't add secular word because its version of secularism was different than the western version of atheist secularism. So in principle constitution is secular even before 42nd amendment act.

I've gone through the CAA and i seriously can't find any problem in that. It is according to the constitutional value of India.

I myself studying in india & I saw the way they talk about indian army. Nearly my every muslim classmate is the supporter of secessionist movement going on in Kashmir. This is really disheartening to me as I don't hate anyone but I love my country so much. This is really sad state of affairs here. I hope this university would do something concrete to tackle these type of radicalism in university campus. Radicalism in university campus is very dangerous as we saw how AMU provided fertile ground for the creation of pakistan in past.
