Also, another little thing for most people to know is that it's not always the case that both hands will require the same sizes. I know a lot of people who have hands with different sized middle fingers and thumbs and such. Best thing to do is take a clear piece of tape and put it across the widest part of your nail. Then, for each finger, mark the edges of your nails on the tape with a sharpie. After you've done that you can lay them all out in order and use a measuring tape to truly find your ten sizes. I hope this helps! I love me some press on nails! The sets I get from Etsy look like I paid hundreds when in reality it's a small fraction of that! 💖
Alcohol only last 10 minutes for dehydration, so if it takes you longer than 10 minutes to get the nail on your finger, you’ll need to prep the nail again with an alcohol wipe. You also should NEVER buff across the nail. Only buff going down with the grain of how your nail grows out. You will destroy your nails, especially if you have naturally thin nails or damaged nails. She also didn’t talk about how you need to prep the nail before putting them on, or you’ll end up with lifting. You need to push back your cuticles and remove any dead skin from the nail. You also don’t want to size down, if you can’t find the proper size for your natural nail. Go a little larger and file down the sides of the press on with a fine-grit. If you size down, it is likely to pop off or hurt you when you bump into things. This a great idea, but if you’re gonna tell someone how to properly put them on, you need to start with the basics, please. Not everyone knows exactly what to do or why you need to do it.
You added an incredible points. But you didn’t have to be so mean about your delivery. She covered a good amount of basis, but she’s also not a professional herself.
Alcohol it’s good. It’s impossible to re-hidrate 10min after!! Nothing does, that’s crazy!! And for skin and body allways use 75%, not 96. Sorry my english… 👍👍👍👍👍🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
Please I need your lights! In my experience, if u go a little smaller yes it hurts when you bump into things, but if you go larger it's more likely to lose a tip. Also, it's more likely to glue your skin's edges, and when you take a bath you will lose your false nails. I am always okay with standard size on press-on nails but never with my big finger especially with almond shape. If I painted them before in the color of the false nail would they stick or it's not advised to do this? Do you have any tips to give me? Finally, how do I remove the instant glue? I can't wait for them to fall day after day on their own! Water is not good for the glue, but warm or cold is their enemy? What about soap, oily creams, acetone, magic remover, etc? Do they help? Ps how do you avoid touching the glue and sticking your finger on the nail? 😂
Super cute . Another tip i have is to always do your dominant hand first . Take your time and enjoy the process . The nails come with numbers. It's easier to organize them. Press on nails have changed my life. If one pops off just carry glue in your purse 👛👜. 💅
Thank you for this because I'm left-handed, and it's skyway hard for me to do anything with my right hand. If I had not read this, I would've automatically done the right hand first because it's easier lol.

I always file bigger press on nails carefully to be the perfect fit rather than choose a smaller sized one, usually most press on nails can handle modifying size. To test can you change the size with a file in a way that looks unnoticable, test it with a press on nail of the size you would never need. It takes practise tho, to learn a good technique. I love press on nails so much 💃
Yes, agreed! I also sometimes cut them to size with nail scissors, but I do it very gently, don't remove too much at once and file the edges smooth after.

I love the french manicure look. I also love neutrals. If I'm going for a pop of color it is going to be a red. I do have a question though, what is the best brand of acrylic nails in your opinion? And does it make a difference what brand you choose? Thank you.
Yesss! I've been waiting for this video! I usually use those stickers because the glue leaves a hard residue on my nails that I can't get rid of for a month after taking off the nails! How do you remove them? Plus - do you find it ok to stay with them for 4 weeks and then go straight to another 4 weeks and so on? I'm so scared that water will get stuck between my nail and the press on and will cause fungal infection or other nasty things...
I viewed your video for the 1st time, and tried this and it works!!! I've tried everything else with press on nails and nothing worked! I at least have them on and hope they last for at least 2 weeks, Thank you so much!
I’m an older guitarist in a band that plays a lot, and recently converted from having a beautician pour a mix on the problem fingernails to gluing fake fingernails on myself - 2 fingernails on left hand that would often split and get a string stuck in the crack, and one fingernail on the right hand - the strumming hand - that tends to get shredded. Thanks for the instruction. I’ll have to do better before I get all my fingers stuck together!
This is such a good video! I’ve never heard these hacks and I never knew that about tweezers. Plus a way to use concealers that ended up being the wrong shade. Trying to figure out my fair olive skin I have more than one of those haha. Wow very cool, I feel de-influenced and my husband will appreciate the frugal tips haha.
Amazing! I do my own acrylic nails at home and love them as it makes them harder (i have very thin and soft nails…) but I just started a new job where I won’t be aloud to have anything on my nails =( so i’ll def be trying press ons for my days off!
I have been getting mine done in a salon for decades but this makes me want to try press on nails. Can you recommend a brand that you love & the best glue that you have found? XO
Thank you for advising to go a little smaller. I constantly hear professionals advocating a little larger...I personally hate that look and it's hard for me to get them filed to a perfect size, but with going a tiny bit smaller, they work the same, look and feel better even for me.
I'm done with press on nails lol. Never again. They're nice in theory but if one pops off and you're out in public and DIDN'T bring replacements and glue with you, it's just a crappy embarrassing situation.
What type of cuticle hydrator did you use? I tried to look up oil, free, hydrators for cuticles and couldn’t find anything. Thank you so much for these videos even as a 55-year-old woman I learn new things every day!
You make this look flawless and I need to try the way you are putting the glue on because I put it in the nail itself and occasionally on the sides but mine are either size 5 or 6 that I end up using more of 😢
You buy nail glue remover ( i recommend the one from kiss) and squeeze the liquid under the press on nails. With that u can remove them without any pain and without damaging your real nails. And no sadly u cannot reuse press on nails if u already wore them for a few weeks even if u just used nail glue stickers it's not gonna lay down correctly. But nail glue stickers are a scam anyways they're not recommended. The glue is too weak and bacteria can grow faster since not everything under the press on nail is covered like with a liquid glue. Although nail glue stickers can be recommended for children since the press ons can pop off very easily after a few days. Hope this helps :)
I love how these simple steps could make it look like I actually got my nails done! I did a gel x set last month and it made my nails weak and brittle. I don't want to have to go back to get them redone... I used to think press on nails were tacky but like you said it's all in the technique and how you apply it 💅 Which brand of press on nails would you recommend? I have a coupon at cvs that I'm trying to use 🙃
I exclusively use KISS press ons. They look professional and elegant, and they’re pretty sturdy, and stick well onto the nail. I wouldn’t recommend imPRESS nails. I have long nail beds and none of the press ons properly fit my nail. And the nails feel cheap, and don’t stick as well.
thank you for introducing fake nails... it literally changed my life and iam now super obsessed and really love showing off my hands with perfect nail polish and made me feel like a hundred bucks chic....
Ugh I love your overall message about beauty 🥹 loved reading how you connected it to how girls going through life can utilize beauty everyday in your description!
What water based serum do you use before cuticle oil? Thank you for this video. I am new to using press on nails. I also watched your tips for press on nail video.
Press on nails that long will never last me a long time. I’m lucky if they stand a night out & I do all these steps. The only ones that have lasted a few days are the impress in short styles & with both the glue and sticky gel. Even then tho, they started to lift and some popped off. Most stayed on about one week but extra long lengths like in this vid, idk how you make them last girl.

Great advice, but I was surprised cuticle prep wasn't mentioned. It looks like urs were pre-prepped. I liked the video still 😊
thank you for this!! will definitely try it
Y am allergic for acrylic. So y want to try press on nails. Thank you for this video...y learn alot from it❤
I love your nails videos can’t get enough 😍
Love the level of detail!
WAIT YOURE BACK?!? I grew up on you ❤😂 I was just looking at your other press on video and wondering where you went
What is the brand "water based" drops you apply at the end, pretty please? 🙏
The most detailed video. Ty!
Mmm, no answer, did you ever find the right hydrator?
@ no, unfortunately I didn’t.
@@99medusa Bummer 😕
Omg I didn't know I was suppose to cleen the nail. Thank you
You make this look flawless and I need to try the way you are putting the glue on because I put it in the nail itself and occasionally on the sides but mine are either size 5 or 6 that I end up using more of 😢
What's the correct way to take these off? Can they be re-used even when using liquid nail glue, or only when using nail stickers?
You can also soak them in warm water, dish soap and oil💅🏻 Check out the press on nail hacks video I just posted as a follow up ☺️
Thank you! I'm so glad you posted a follow up video!
I love how these simple steps could make it look like I actually got my nails done!
I did a gel x set last month and it made my nails weak and brittle. I don't want to have to go back to get them redone...
I used to think press on nails were tacky but like you said it's all in the technique and how you apply it 💅
Which brand of press on nails would you recommend? I have a coupon at cvs that I'm trying to use 🙃
I exclusively use KISS press ons. They look professional and elegant, and they’re pretty sturdy, and stick well onto the nail. I wouldn’t recommend imPRESS nails. I have long nail beds and none of the press ons properly fit my nail. And the nails feel cheap, and don’t stick as well.
The Jofay fashion nails are so sturdy and long for long nails beds
thank you for introducing fake nails... it literally changed my life and iam now super obsessed and really love showing off my hands with perfect nail polish and made me feel like a hundred bucks chic....
Your video was so detailed, thank you. And try Ferrari red, I love that color. I just don't remember the number.
Explained v.well. 🤩👌
Love the video! Question. Can I use builder gel then peel base?
Looks great ❤❤❤
I like the natural nail look
love this video!! are you just using acetone to wipe each finger before applying the nails?
Ugh I love your overall message about beauty 🥹 loved reading how you connected it to how girls going through life can utilize beauty everyday in your description!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤thx girl i needed this vid so bad
Hi, I love you video, so detailed yet straight to the point. What is the name of the oil you use for your cuticles!
What water based serum do you use before cuticle oil? Thank you for this video. I am new to using press on nails. I also watched your tips for press on nail video.
Hi! I love the nails you got!Where did you get them?
Girl you’re a genius
Thanks for this can’t wait to try
I've worn my nails long for a few years & my favorite go-to for color is Vamp. Otherwise, I sport a natural French tip.
I would love to know what perfumes you use 💝
I am still searching for my signature
Press on nails that long will never last me a long time. I’m lucky if they stand a night out & I do all these steps.
The only ones that have lasted a few days are the impress in short styles & with both the glue and sticky gel. Even then tho, they started to lift and some popped off. Most stayed on about one week but extra long lengths like in this vid, idk how you make them last girl.
