Really really amazing work. I had a table like this that Dad brought to my New York City apartment, along with 2 caned chairs. I overlooked Lexington Avenue and was on the second floor. In those days, the street noise didn't bother me. The table sat just under my only large 3 part window. I don't think I really appreciated it enough. Knowing myself I was probably kind and excited and showed gratitude. But things were tough living and working/walking to my job. Got a place close to a job I didn't like. Lonely, a second job to cover the $895 rent, life wasn't easy. Did the best I could, really. Today receiving the table I would have cried in gratitude. In those days you think everyones going to live long and be well. Thank you for helping me process this time, thanking Dad in heaven. Thank you for your stellar work, it is indeed magnificent what you do. Utterly fine craftsmanship. I love to see it and I pray that you are more than content with you work and life. I am grateful for you. Much love and peace, Amanda

I loved the table and knew it could look 100% better, it was painted green. It had resided in my garage for at least 25 yrs. Oh well hopefully it went to a good crafter or artist’s home. Me too. I was thinking an old walnut stain would have nice. Of course, I mean no disrespect to his color choice.

Замечательная работа, здорово!!! Очень нравится стол. Обожаю мастеров возвращающих к жизни с ещё лучшим видом, удобную, практичную мебель! А котик тоже указал, что этому столу нужно помочь стать красивым!

INSTANT like just for the cat! What a cutie. And beautiful restoration work. I think I'd take one look at those leaves and want to give up. What a labor of love. I have a pull out table cabinet with similar-looking water damage that I just can't get the heart to get rid of because it was my grandmother's. I've been dreading even looking at it because it's just in such bad shape that I'm scared it's too far gone. But after watching you tackle THIS, I'm feeling a bit more confident that I can restore it now. :)

I don't think that fluffy little black and white fur ball is enough weight to flatten that top. Just a wild guess.

I was wondering how the wings would be held in place till you added the missing sliding supports. I've seen similar tables with neighbours that have two extra articulating legs to hold up the wings horizontally. Looks like these have reached India from England.

Yes - I have one like that. Probably an English style, about 100 years old now - it was my grandmother's.

As such a table is called Pembroke table, these must have originated in UK.
