I like your bow reviews. You tell it like it is then always shoot them at the end. I bought a pse evovle 28 years back because of your review. And im glad i did . . There isn't to many short bows made these days. Not that i would sell my evolve to buy one. Well maybe if bear made one. Still waiting.
Great review, as always. I have the Verdict, Ritual 35, Omnia, Rezult 36 and the Exalt and prefer the Exalt. IMO it's a combination of all of Elite's previous flagship bows. And for a shorter draw shooter (27) I'm pushing 280fps @ 315gr. at 55lbs which is as fast or faster than all my others, including the Verdict with Performance mods (also using smooth on the Exalt). The only exception is the Omnia but we know why it's faster. I also don't need to add much weight at all with the Exalt, it just feels so good I don't feel it necessary. Awesome bows, looking forward to picking up the pod soon. EDIT I wrote this before you got to the part about weight/bars LOL!
This is arguably one of the best crossover bows in the market, along the PSE Shootdown Pro, the Darton Departure and the Hoyt Highline (as long as fits your minimun DL). I would purchase one if I already didn't have a Remedy (waiting for the replacement of the Verdict next year).
Bro I haven't shot in like a year and a half I went back out to shoot and I hate to say this it almost made me tear up bro for real I think I've lost my love for shooting or maybe it's just a place I'm at in life right now
Some cable stops bows give a bit more than others When people say a bow is spongey very rarely is it because someone was unaware of the bows timing was out
@liamboyle9199 this is true, especially on cams where modules go flat at the end if the draw cycle and the cables tuck into the track. However, the draw weight also plays a big role in how solid the backwall is, because cables with less tension on them will give more when pressure is applied against them.
I had mine set where the cable stops would just BARELY hit before the limb stops. They were dead on and the timing was dead on. I still wasn’t a fan of the back wall. It’s all personal preference though. I shot it for 3 weeks and went back to my Shootdown Pro.
I’ve got a Verdict. The winners choice strings are crap, and I had no end of trouble with peep movement. The strings didn’t even last a year… I also had some paint chip off. The paint I used to cover it was better than the paint they put on it. It’s an ok bow, but I’m not overly keen on it.
Steven, Hello ✋🏻I’m in South Carolina -UpState. Hurricane just month ago ripped us apart here in Pauline, SC and in Western N.C. By the way that’s where Levi Morgan hails from. I watched this video you offered and loved it. No I do not shoot Elite Bows, but I’ve set up the VERDICT and if that bow shoots as good as it does… well I think I’m going to start selling them here in UpState SC. What do you think of Obsession Bows? Thinking about carrying a few of those? I love watching your reviews…. And “Just life things you have shared “ I would love love to shake your hand … just added this to my bucket list!! 😢 don’t let the public WORLD WIDE , curb your love of archery, it’s a discipline as you know… I very much hope you continue your path, also I will watch. God Bless You Russell Bennett Truly Archery
Hi Steven Do you have any idea if the DL is long at 80% let off? My DL is between 30.5 and 31. My Remedy was long. Wondering if I need the Long draw version.. Hard to know here in Oz. Thx
They're tripping a cable stops a cable stop when it comes to pulling on that back wall literally the cable would have to have slack in it to be spongy RV like a more or less tension on the limbs and full draw
Are you talking about compound bows of the same brand or in general? Because if is the later, bows with more parallel limbs as from Elite, Mathews or Darton look quite different than other brands with more rounded forms as Bowtech, PSE or APA.
I love to see you shoot this bow at 50m range and see how the score looks like

Thank you for adding the section of you shooting the bow!

Great review, very interested in this bow!
Get one, I promise you will not regret it!
Ahhhhhhh, I named my cat Steven after this man. My cat doesn’t review bows though
Maybe it needs some training?
I presume we will see Steven Nala "NotHahn" at the Feline Recurve Invitational soon?
lol
@@gus1881 it took a few weeks just to teach Steve to use the cat door.
Thanks Steve for another great review! Off the topic, Steve what are your medium and long term plans for your indoor range at work? Cheers!

A spongy backwall is due to the cams not being in time and the drawstops not hitting the cables/limbs simultaneously.

Try to acquire a Darton, they seem to be doing something right over there.
I’ve got a Verdict.

There's two different videos there's one from a month ago and there's one from 13 days ago so is this the same exact vote correct
Like those specs !
Isn’t the FIRST arrow a Victory 3DHV?? 🤔
I could care less what the box a bow comes in looks like. As long as it has the bows info, that’s what matters
You could care less ?....how much less could you care? .....seeing as though you could care less......quite right its a bloody box.
@@dash4177fair it should have been couldn’t care less.

It's spot on at 80%.
@ Much appreciated.
Don't get why Elite can't colour match the limbs. Every other brand does it.
I seen a little jump at the bottom of the bowl that's about it
They're tripping a cable stops a cable stop when it comes to pulling on that back wall literally the cable would have to have slack in it to be spongy RV like a more or less tension on the limbs and full draw
Bowtech has a limb lock.
And more than 10 pounds of adjustment.
Does Elite include a free hat with their bows ? Lol !!!
A new dog]?
Dude, it's pronounced PICK A TEEN E
You should do a review on that Mercedes.
Why so much focus lately on the compound bows?
They look all same thes days
Are you talking about compound bows of the same brand or in general? Because if is the later, bows with more parallel limbs as from Elite, Mathews or Darton look quite different than other brands with more rounded forms as Bowtech, PSE or APA.
How much variation can you get?
A string, some cams and something to hold.
Theres only so much you can do and keep it practical.
