1:49 To answer that question, Corvus was still in Lux Auria at the end of season 5 because he was recovering from an injury from when they were escaping the bookery, so they probably didn’t have time to get him before this meeting.
I totally forgot he was in Lux Aurea at the end there. OH!!! Hopefully a sunfire elf can heal him so we can see more of their healing qualities. Currently I’m associating healing with Earth (and ocean, although we haven’t seen that aspect with the ocean primal as of yet)
18:20 I’m also worried because one of the writers alluded on Twitter that the large box next to the wheel barrow in the background is a coffin, and then comedically asked where Soren was in that shot 😢 We know Pharos is also being manipulated by Aaravos after seeing him hide the bite mark on his neck left on him after season 3 . What if the spell to heal soul Regeam requires blood, and Karim gets it in his head to use Soren as a sacrifice as a form of revenge against Viren for destroying their home!
Excuuuuuse me!? I REFUSE! Nope! No, nope. We HAVE to see Soren meet with Viren and Claudia and I’m rooting for a meeting with Lissa. And I need to see my ship between Soren and Corvus take sail 💔 Althoooough… Soren has been close to death’s doorstep a few times… like they say, third time’s the charm. Lol. Just kidding, I’m hoping it was a writers joke to spur theories because I will not be okay if Soren dies. (I think there’s some foreshadowing for Amaya dying but I also don’t like that idea) On another note, I love this idea of Sol Ragem’s spell needing blood because Lux Aurea gives me ‘Valyria’ vibes from the world of a Song of Ice and Fire especially after the Sunforge was corrupted and so now it reminds me of the Doom of Valyria even more. But anyway, my point in bringing that up is that in that world, blood magic is potent and powerful so I totally see that being a thing that is required to heal him (the blood moon huntress uses blood magic too after all). I’m also down with this idea because Sol Ragem lost his eyesight to a spell performed with Dark Magic so it makes sense that some darkness is required to heal him. Although I hope he stays blind, I’m not gonna lie.
@@AngelesLunamoth I don’t actually think Soren is going to die. For one thing, the writers have stated that they can’t give concrete spoilers away for obvious legal reasons. So maybe they were hinting at something more harmless and goofy, like he’s only hiding in the coffin to stage a rescue attempt or to sneak into the ritual. It could even be a funny call back to when he smuggled Ezran out of Katolis in season three by hiding him in the hay. I could also see a scenario where he is about to be sacrificed, leading to Viren being the one to save him to prove to Soren that he has changed and does love him. Also I agree with you about him and Corvus. After reading Changing of the Guard and seeing how Corvus joined the guard mainly to ease Soren’a grief over losing his family, I’m also hopeful that with them on this solo mission, this could be Soren’s chance to open up to someone about his own trauma. (Also Sorvus is a better ship than Rayla. Sorry, not sorry!)
@@LauraM96829Now you see I think book/comic Soren & show Soren are 2 different characters. Book/comic Soren suffers from PTSD & needs support. Show Soren brushes off things & quickly rebounds. Like yeah he was upset that he was now paraplegic but quickly got over that, said he was going to be a great poet & was happy about his situation.
@@TheMrPeteChannelI’m not sure I agree, since I’ve read interviews with Aaron Ehasz where he said we would have a scene where Soren and Viren confront each other in the present day. And he said how Soren may have had a smaller, more foggy presence in season 5, but that he would have some dark questions to face soon.
I also wondered if the scene with Kpp’ar is actually Claudia’s flashback to overhearing their fight in the puzzle house as shown in the novel. Since we hear Aaravos talking to Claudia at the end of the teaser, what if throughout the season he starts plaguing her mind with visions of her family in order to break her, like how Azula started hallucinating her mother in the Avatar comics. What if he even forces her to relive seeing Soren sick and dying, as well as Lissa leaving.
I’m here for seeing Lissa, even if it’s in a flashback (Although I really want to see her present day) But I’m keeping my fingers crossed to see Claudia overhearing this conversation!!!
To be fair, getting more than 5-7 minutes of screen time would be more than the previous seasons lol. But be it 10 minutes or the last few episodes, I’m looking forwards to seeing Aaravos!! My guess is that we’ll get a good amount of flashbacks to set up his motivation. Maybe we’ll get his version of why he was cast down from the heavens or why he thinks the dragons betrayed him. His telling of events would naturally put him in a charitable position (at least from Claudia’s perspective)
@@Venomandriot7403 I imagine the ones who are siding with him are those who do not want to befriend the humans so quickly. But also! I feel like Miyana was the one who ran some sort of campaign to persuade them to Karim's side.
That’s totally fair! I just think back to the previous trailers like the trailer for Season 3 where we knew that there would be a big battle and we even saw the corruption of the sunforge (I mean, we didn’t see it happen but we saw the aftermath). Then in the trailer for season 4, we saw the biggest highlights which in my opinion were the fight between Claudia and Ibis (I actually guessed Ibis was going to die based on that trailer since we see his death ceremony but I wasn’t making videos at that point) and Aaravos possessing Callum. Then in the season 5 trailer we see a pretty good chunk of Aaravos’ screen time and we even saw the Bloodmoon Huntress going all out. We naturally didn’t see Callum being tortured but we did see the aftermath of him being bruised and whatnot. Anyway, I totally agree that they wouldn’t want to show him getting freed in the trailer but I feel like it’s implied when he tells Claudia, “I’m here” (ahhh! That line is so hauntingly good!) But I do think it’ll happen near the last few episodes as set up for season 7.
And how do you know the names of the creatures or the mushroom mage and stuff like that? And where are you getting all the *official* art (I guess it is official) from?? I don't mean to bug you but I love this show so so sooooo much and I thought I knew almost all of it.

This is a kids show. We haven't lost a good main character since Harrow & I don't see that happening again ever.
