You can do a fast track disembarkation if you’re prepared to take your own luggage from your cabin. We wheeled our own suitcases down which we’d kept in our cabin and were off the ship and in our car by 7.40am. We just found it more convenient as we could add last minute things to the cases.

It was so refreshing that even though you had so much to complain about you both just took it on the chin, and stayed positive, those disappointing things happen in real life but that does not stop SOME people kicking off, I bet the reception desk was heaving......
Thank you so much! We always talk about our own experience when we are cruising! When something does happen we never let it affect our overall experience onboard! The weather is the weather and it could not be helped but Ambassador were really good at keeping us updated 😀

Been on several Marella cruises, a Princess 80's seacation & just booked on P&O for next year. I particularly like the traditional cruise liner feel & good old fashioned hospitality I'm picking up on the Ambience through your vlogs. Thanks again guys. 🤗🤗
We enjoyed your review. We were also on that cruise, so we can endorse your opinions as to how Ambassador dealt with things. We used the discount to do the North Cape and Spitzbergen in June, which was fantastic.
Very interesting vlog guys . I’ve noticed this ship is going from Liverpool next year witch for us is great . So I’ll definitely have a look to see if we fancy any of there itineraries. We do like smaller ships better so hopefully I’ll see one I like.
Bit surprised at how everything these guys experienced is 'amazing' & 'fantastic'. Sailed with this company from Liverpool last month - overall, they're a 6/10 - won't be travelling again with them. Some very weak areas notably a casual attitude to hand sanitising. Pre-pandemic, any cruises I went on had a member of staff at the entrance to food areas holding a bottle of sanitiser which they dispensed to everyone. Ambition had stands of sanitisers which 90% of passengers ignored. A lot of upset tummies over my 11 day cruise (inc myself). Well priced drinks but overall the food offering was moderate at best.
@@pamrobinson4350 Thanks for that. That’s a bit off putting we went on P&O last December to the Caribbean both got covid . I wasn’t to bad spent 6 days in the cabin but my Hubby tested positive till day 10 then they said he could go out the next day according to the government Gide lines he couldn’t pass it on then. I’d joked with him that as we where in the queue to get on the ship 9 out of 10 couples walked past the hand sanitisers and I’d said obviously covid is over . O no lots of people got it the doctor thought we’d got it on the plane. To be honest it’s put my hubby off cruising he’s saying maybe next year.
@@wendywebster-sv2li That couldn't have been a good experience - shame your trip was spoiled. Cruising's gone down several notches since my 1st in 1998 & this one didn't improve that opinion. So much so, within a week of coming home, I cancelled a cruise with Cunard booked for next year. There seems to be a lot of enthusiastic hype around this company which is just that - hype. New line & they obviously need the exposure but reviews like this aren't the full story.
Sorry you didn’t have as good experience as we did. Certainly everything wasn’t amazing for example our Sea and Grass experience. When we were onboard there were member of the crew standing at the door to MDR every day with sanitiser. We can only say it how we experienced it
Thanks lads, very interesting cruise lots of bad weather. Our cruise on 1st Sept may be in doubt due to bad weather hitting Britannia in Palma, damaged some life saving equipment apparently and also the deck rail. Fingers crossed we can still go. Look forward to seeing your next cruise adventure.
Loved your daily vlogs guys. It brought back so many memories of our cruise on Ambience in March and you were so right on so many issues. We did not get to sample Saffron on our cruise but, having seen this vlog, it’s now on the list for next time. Take care.
A little tip that may be of interest. You don't have to put your luggage out for disembarkation, you can keep it with you, and then when you leave the ship, just go straight to your car with your luggage. That's what we did...
I've just booked the 5 night Amsterdam city break on the Ambience for next August as a surprise for my partner so I've rewatched the entire series and I thoroughly enjoyed it second time round. 😃 I purchased a few items from your Amazon list, such as the plastice luggage tags and the magnetic hooks so thanks guys for the recommendations. We now have 3 future cruises booked all inside cabins so i will be investing in the recommended daylight lamp. We will definitely be making a reservation in the Saffron restaurant- can you pls tell me did you book on the ship? Thanks, Kay💙💙

Hi we are new to booking a cruise so we are on same ship as your review which we have just watched we have booked the parking through ambassador at tilbury do we park are car and keep our keys
Thanks for your comment! 😀 I’m sure you will have a great time onboard! The parking attendant will direct you to a parking space and your car will stay there for your cruise and you take your keys with you 😀
Your experiences are great to see - thank you. Our first experience of the Ambience is in a few weeks time so guidance please. Do most people using Buckingham restaurant wear black tie on formal nights? Worth packing the dinner suit? Many thanks.
Not all people do, but most do put in the exta effort. You may prefer or have to eat dinner at the Borough Market on formal nights if you don't dress up. Next are good for suitable suits and shirts etc. at fairly reasonable prices.
Thanks for this. My husband has dinner jacket etc. But I’m checking because ‘formal’ is not always the same. On Cunard it’s pretty well observed but on Holland America it is more hit and miss! @@kyorin6526

We loved the food at Saffron too. My daughter is quite fussy with food, but even she loved it. The lamb dish was to die for!
