    Thanks - what you didn't maintain is the typical sequence of point curve - parametric curve - Basics panel. Point curve first ?

    hello Pye, i am fan of lightroom but find it so limited in term of artistic effects that i have migrated to Luminar 4 and ON1 PR2020. I can enhance sky, replace sky, add golden hour, sunrays, dynamic contrast,... and for deep black and white i ams till using the amazing sylver efex pro2+color efex pro. Do you think your course would help making most in lightroom. jumpin to photoshop is time consuming and it is more difficult to reach same results than one click in luminar.

    I still know people who with great authority in their voices say “Lightroom is good for cataloguing, but not really for editing”. I just smile at them, nod and say “hmm, I see...”.

    The video would work just as good without the continuous assumptions about the audience's proficiency and the tiny bit of just about too much self confidence for which there is hardly any reason. But on the other hand: thanks so much for some additional knowledge.

    Useful, but you are instructing advanced folks; Why? Because your adjustments are minuscule for beginners such as myself to detect. I would like each of your adjustments to go to extremes first, up and down or left and right, so that I can detect what you are doing and where.

      lol, tell me how you really feel. Haha, it did end up a little more magenta than I planned. The downside of editing with lights in your face. I'll triple check next go around.

    It's so aggravating how Pye and so many educators never touch the Color Profile panel and leave their images set to Adobe Color. I mean seriously. Adobe Color is super generic and relatively awful. Pro cameras have camera native color profiles in the Profile panel that are not on by default but do a great job of profiling for that camera. And beyond that, this is where ColorChecker Passport profiling lives if you own a Passport and shoot custom profiles, something far more users should be doing. So no, Pye. There aren't 7 ways. There are EIGHT.

    • @payamjirsa
      @payamjirsa 4 роки тому +1

      You’re not wrong. But we leave color profiles out of this guide because we specifically develop professional presets (Visual Flow) they use custom camera profiles developed by our partners at DVLOP. Hence we leave that out of a regular workflow, because it’s already built into Visual Flow Development Tools. But it is available should you want to create your own custom profiles.
