Very good. Nice information. One question, why you see in the screen of the camera and not on the viewfinder? It isn't a bit untidy?

Nicely done. Your series either shows me something new, or reminds me of things I know and (through carelessness or laziness) don't pay enough attention to. Good stuff, either way.

One comment about your video "ONE SIMPLE TECHNIQUE TO MAKE YOUR SUBJECTS STAND OUT". Not only was the video good, but I appreciate how you showed the photo before and post-processed. Great Job. Also, from your email link, there is no way to give you a thumbs up or add a comments. I had to get out of my email and go to UA-cam.

I know this video is old, but maybe you'll answer. I would love to see your original histogram! Clearly the original images are darker, especially the faces. So, it would help a lot to see the histogram. Thanks!

On all of these videos, it looks like you are not using fill flash. In post, you are applying a preset. Please do a video on how you make these shadows pop in post!

@@payamjirsa yes please - I'm particularly interested in the why, not the what. Why do you adjust this part, what are you seeing that makes you think it needs changing. How do you decide direction, etc. So many people say what they're going to do but they don't explain the decision behind it, and that I feel is where people really learn. At least I do.

Seems to me you need to have a scrim over the subject so that the hairlight does not get blown out, also the same for your cameraman shooting into the sun creates a hazy video.

Not to minimize your video but it's basic photography to always keep in mind where the sun is. Also important for WW1 and WW2 fighter pilots

It's definitely a fundamental concept. Our tips/education will be aimed at all different skill levels. Keep in mind that not only are all of us at different levels, even those with experience forget simple techniques like this when working under pressure.
