- Our 15 yr old fraternal twin daughters barefoot at the mall.
The challenge was to film yourself going barefoot in a public place to change a common misconception. We wish to show it is legal, acceptable, and quite nice.
Shoes are usually very filthy, our feet get washed daily. It's not like we eat or touch anything but the ground with them. Plus barefoot is better for balance issues and walking barefoot on grass is amazing for your back & knees.
This isn't ment to be sexy.
My husband and I choose to go barefoot for several health reasons, but for us it is not a fetish. Raising our kids this way was only natural.
BUT We do sometimes wear shoes.
We consider shoes, like gloves, to be tools or decoration. They aren't needed all the time.

I also don't like to wear shoes. In fact, I am barefoot hiker (in my country Romania).

Hey Nice people, are you guys still continuing barefoot living or given up. Well,my opinion is continue barefooting. Because that's the best choice for a healthy lifestyle. Don't forget that your feet and soles loves to be in contact with Mother Earth. I'd say go barefoot(fulltime if possible). Cheers !!!

Are you barefoot as well?
I was investigated by the Dept. of human services for allowing my daughter to go barefoot I adopted her from China as a teen, she was very poor and she was abused by her family I said now that you are safe what is the thing you want most? she said dont laugh but pantyhose. in their culture the poor would look at all the things rich girls have her focus was on pantyhose I said certainly. I took her to the department store being a fetishist I knew where the good brands were I have never perved out Ever on her to be clear. She tried them on and cried I gave her a big hug and she said can I walk around barefoot? she saw this girl her age do it in Hong Kong I said we will tape it and send it to her LOL she said she dosent know her,, she got American humor later. She was ecstatic I said if you like it so much I can take you shopping all the time and you can walk around in your nylons, she said really? I took her to every specialist and got her a nutritionist which helped her development. Now she was healthy and very happy she looked in the mirror and said I look better than that rich girl, I said really did you get a name we can sen her a pic... I never had children because my Ex wife hated them, in fact she hated I gave my money to relief I made a ton of money when I was 19 I bought a car and an education and my band a ton of equipment then locked it away It was till I graduated I decided to finance kids This frustrated my wife so much I had so much and couldnt touch it she left me. She said I got this teen model and paid the mafia in China for her I spent over a million proving I was innocent I told my daughter haters got to hate she took millions from our divorce and she could not let it go I said I need a milk shake maybe several since you have a license you can drive me home she said can I drive in my bare feet? I said where did you see a rich girl driving? on the internet it was called pedal pumpers I said that is fetish she said I know I got her when she was 16 now she is 18 I should have seen this, my daughter is a perv. The rich girl had a camera on her yet she did not make the conection till she got on You tube

I didn t want to offend you.your way to go barefoot is very natural i intended this for paesant.i m italian and in italy expecially in the south if you aren t always extremely clean and elegant you are considered paesant or you can be considered mad
I completely understand that different cultures feel different ways.
I cant say we are very elegant, but we wash our feet several times a day, and they aren't stuck in smelly shoes that definitely don't get washed as much. Plus we don't have to worry about ingrown nails, bunions, corns, athlete's foot, hammertoe, or Plantar Fasciitis as well as having less problems with our skeletal muscular systems. Also because we are careful and dont stand in puddles of urine, our feet are disease free. Maybe a puncture wound, but thats rare and treated very quickly.
Your culture isnt alone in its beliefs. Not wearing shoes is often associated with being poor & dirty.
I get that if you don't act the way society thinks you should, even if its harmless, you can be considered crazy or unstable, (unless you're rich, then you're eccentric). Most cultures have similar beliefs, and to some extent it is helpful and ment to protect their loved ones. It is unfortunate that that stigma has also been used to hurt and ostracize those they don't seem fit.
I am no better, I have my own judgments of people due to my own experiences, but I do pray for discernment.
(My husband just said that I should pray harder because I'm still way too trusting. I told him that that was why God gave me him.)

Edit: um... were twins. Our older, but shorter, blonde twin daughter suddenly passed away in July 2018 due to a genetic heart issue.
