Asa person do you like to be caged in your whole life ??? If the answer is no, so is your innocent feet and soles. Go barefoot, don't care about what others do. Do it for the sake of your feet and soles. Do you know that regular barefooters are blessed with beautiful shapy healthy and strong bare soles ???
Nothing to be HUMILIATED about here. No shoes - no big deal. People are gonna look at you because you're wearing or not wearing a particular shirt, pants, shorts, gloves, hat, etc. etc..
