It’s lame Broh I wanted this to be like the Jerry Springer shows. It’s the sole reason I watch debates. It scratches that white trailer trash tv guilty pleasure itch I have lol.
Implying that Destiny was in the wrong because a majority would disagree with him was a very pants on head moment. Many opinions that are popular now were ridiculed and rarely held in the past. This is why arguing and challenging opinions is important. Everyone should want to hold the most true and moral beliefs possible.
"Would you then agree that 70% of the world is uncivilized?"
*CHAD YES*
most people probably would say that they wouldn't pay taxes or that gays should be allowed to exist if polled globally lmao
Isn’t that democracy? If 70% of americans held those views are you gonna riot against the government now?
His logic comes from the quran being correct. Contravening established truths, even if they're false, doesn't serve his world view.
@@BasedPoliwhirl so you would live in a world where 70% of people are uncivilised savages?
Imagine for a second if that were true, a world where 7/10 people you see is a savage, is that the same world we live in today?

yeah while i am not a religious person i find these 2 to only hurt their own case.
What do you think up chat shit get banged ?
Man that’s true but some get a pass by a side and any talk will land you with a label or worst (cancel or harm)
Yeah, it's really assuring to know that someone isn't committing a violent action because they're afraid that some invisible dude in the sky will punish them in the afterlife, and not because they have an actual shred of empathy towards other humans. Morality is not static nor determined by any single entity; morality is dynamic and requires constant scrutiny from everyone.
Except when you're gratuitously being offensive and using vulgar language speaking about a religious figure to offend people. Offending and genuine criticism are two different things. Swearing at Jesus to anger Christians and criticising the historicity are two different things.
There are many Muslims that don't even believe the small details Destiny has been trashing muslims about. Big show of lack of wisdom on his part.
The thing that angers me the most about these people is they are taking advantage of liberal free speech to argue against freedom of speech and liberalism. It’s so incredibly bad faith how they get all hurt when people make fun of them online even though they know that if the roles were reversed they would have all of us stoned to death for daring to question their God.
It’s kind of poetic in a sense that they’re calling the very rights that makes their existence able to happen the thing that is tyrannizing them.
Exactly. Complete bs…
Paradox of intolerance.
The rules ARE reversed in countries like Turkey and Egypt so where’s the stoning?

I mean, I feel like we also have to take into consideration the mental health of someone. Someone who loves Dumbledore in that situation probably doesn't have the capacity to understand why violence is ok. That is why we usually remove them from society if meds don't help.

However it really is amazing to me how a seemingly reasonable human being like the guy in the lower left can take such a seemingly crazy position that you should be able to attack people physically for insulting someone's parents.
America is leading when it comes to violence and killing people . The other guy lives in Dubai one of the safest and most happiest places in earth . Yet Destiny acts as if he lives in this heaven . Everyone outside the USA describes USA as dumb people and unsafe.

Although, it's hard not to be: considering the untenable position his opponent is defending.
Try to reach out to other Muslim creators! We have reasonable people in the debate sphere that would love genuinely engaging with this topics
Plz keep this Islam arc going, so many taking the bait. They are so emotionally undeveloped, and proud of it to boost, just begging to be ridiculed.
It's actually dangerous doing this, if he pisses off enough of them they will organise and attempt to kill him. If you live in Europe I'm sure you are aware of this.
Americans seriously underestimate just how backwards and sensitive the average Muslim is.
I swear everyone is pissing their pants talking about that subject. Even a fucking andrew tate got no balls.
I hope destiny goes even harder at Islam, with more disrespect
Absolutely insane. Straight up they believe if you love Dumbledore enough, you should be allowed to respond to Dumbledore hecklers with violence. My goodness, I'm glad people like this aren't important here.
Their argument literally comes down to “It hurts our feelings extra more when our prophet is made fun of so violence is justified”
Do they care as much if someone insults their god? This weird hyper-focused zealotry for some dude who was human is insane to me.
Christians at least believe Christ WAS god, so their defense of him makes more sense to me lol
@@Polydueces when u look at it from a Christian country it’s very easy to see Muslim faith in a bad fashion and the only way you can get rid of that idea is by researching into it with an open mind.
I can answer a few questions if you want.
@@derpalerpalerp5879 No, no, you misunderstand. I'm on center of neutrality, this has nothing to do with Christians vs Muslims, or which is better, or seeing one or the other in a bad light. I was simply using an example of another faith that worships a prophet. I only have the one question. Why is Mohammed adored to such a degree that Muslims flip their shit every time he's insulted?
Simultaneously, we have millions of atheists who don't just insult god, but deny his very existence, which I would think would be the ultimate insult. Yet, there's no inherent rage at atheists. And if you wanted to include Christians in the over all question, people insult Jesus Christ all the time, constantly. It's part of the normal variety of swearing, to blaspheme Jesus Christ. But Christians turn the other cheek and Muslims threaten to cave in your skull. That's the disconnect.
Again, this ISN'T west vs east or culture clash. I have absolutely no interest in some sort of religious conversion attempt or war against my personal beliefs. I just want to know why Islam worships a man so hard.
@@Polydueces the reason prophet Muhammad(pbuh) is held to such high regards is due to his importance as the last prophet, the one who Allah revealed the Quran to and to Muslims he is the example of what a perfect human should be, a man of faith and a man that is strong, kind and protective of the people around him so when the main Muslim role model is insulted it’s seen as a direct threat to Muslims as Muhammad is someone that muslims should try to be like.
And on your point of why muslims are defensive is due to culture as Muslims are told to be peaceful and only act in self defence, However the culture in some Muslim countries is very aggressive and oppressive which goes against the teachings of Islam ( for example women can not be forced to wear the hijab in Islam yet some countries try to enforce a compulsory hijab this is completely a human/cultural thing), this same culture is seen in the extremes like isis or terrorist groups across the world, aswell as these people threatening violence and harm upon those who mock the prophet, which gives Islam a bad reputation as most people don’t know enough to discern these groups values and actions from islamic rules and teachings.
I probably missed a few things or that might not have been clear but thank you for not being outright rude about the religion like a lot of the comments in this video have been.
@@derpalerpalerp5879 Again, this isn't a, "Christianity is right, Islam is wrong," thing, it's literally just taking objective perspectives and how things have developed. Christianity had its own age of ultra-violence in the crusades, and perhaps that's a product of any wide-spread religion. It could be that if the population is too much of one thing, they just naturally schism, creating denominations of the same faith, which has been witnessed in both Christianity and Islam already.
Thus, I'm not concerned with the perceived violence of Muslims. I work in a very diverse environment with Sikh, atheist, Christian, Muslim, Hindi etc and we all get along fine and we're all aware there are crazies elsewhere in the world in each faith. But I had an actual incident at a restaurant with a friend, where he was talking about exactly what you mentioned, essentially the conflicts in the middle east and said something like, "F'in Muhammed," as some Muslims walked past and it almost came to blows, their reaction was so stark. So even the peaceful Muslims in my area of the world are still capable of the violence I'm asking about.
If I walked into a church and openly blasphemed Christ, I'd expect at worst to be escorted out of the building. I'd be terrified of the parallel experience in an Islamic establishment.
edit: maybe it's the unknown that's scary. If I sat down with a Muslim coworker and said that, they'd probably frown at me and be offended in peace.
This guy is the exact reason why the separation of church and stay exists. They will go out of their way to the end of the Earth to justify their beliefs.
Destiny wanting to get violent against somebody who's stealing 80,000 a year is not even close to being the same as somebody making fun of your skydaddy. If you can't understand that then you're no pun intended bad faith.
It's not close because you don't understand the love people have for god. Stop trying to compare things you don't truly understand, you will get nowhere.

It's insane to me how much they worship Muhammed. Christians believe JC WAS GOD, so it makes sense. Muslims understand that Muhammed was just human and they have much fiercer reactions to bad mouthing their prophet than a Christian does to bad mouthing JC. And Islam recognizes JC as a prophet as well, why is there night and day difference in their deference of the two just because to them Muhammed was the last prophet?? Well until Muhammed said anything the whole world was already under the impression that JC was the last prophet and they've acted confused about Christianity's annoyance about the matter ever since. It's definitely a fragile faith made up of extremely violent sects.
As destiny said, “Muhammad is not your daddy”
Normal humans: "Insulting someone's religion isn't a justification for violence"
Moron:" Bro, he said dragons aren't real bro. RUN MY FADE!!!"
I'm religious and think this muslim view is embarrassing. My belief in God should not be bruised by what others, especially atheist's think. Muslim's reacting this way about criticisms of their prophet, god or religion demonstrates a false god and that their god is weak and needs to be "defended" or that other's words can insult god ( in reality it bruises their ego.) My God does not need me to defend Him, and being violent to the non-believers doesn't demonstrate God's power, but human frailty.
Its almost like, if you knew the correct answer to a math question, but someone else got the answer wrong and you got super mad about it. Why? If the answer is correct then you should be happy to see others try to come to a conclusion, and show them how to get the correct answer.

That's easy to say when you live in a country where Christianity is the dominant religion. Destiny is telling his large audience it's okay to antagonize Muslims despite knowing they will be deeply hurt by the comments. Most people I talk to here in America stopped being religious because they didn't want to go to church and stopped as soon as they were able. I think we overvalue criticism a bit too much. We could go the next 100 years in America without criticizing religion at all and adherence will still drop just because it is one less thing people want to do.
@halofornoobs93 the thing is, you don't have to go to a church to be Christian. Church as defined in the Bible was a gathering of believers discussing faith and struggles. Church nowadays are just bad modern music and offering trays with 15 min of Bible.

I don't know the study but I assume he is right. 70% of the world population (and probably more) is not from 1st world countries. China, India and the rest of southeast asia make up around half of the world population, and outside of the main cities they aren't really that civilized as nations. And even there, violence is way more "normal" in China and India than, say, in France or Germany.

Part of the problem that comes up with "violence" in these debates is that more radical political thinkers for the last century have been trying to shift the range of meaning for words in directions they find useful. In the case of "violence", a lot of people in politics use it as a synonym of "harm" with a more abstract connotation and never consider that the more common definition is closer to the one in physics (something like "consisting of rapid changes in velocity and acceleration"). Put simply, a lot of political and philosophical thinkers need to touch grass.
