Yes the car is in 99 livery , it was changed in 99 by Minardi , probably to use as a press car after the 98 season before the 99 was ready to display .
That was i going to ask, if i remember well, that minardi was drove by Tuero and Nakano, i swear it had blue where Fondmetal is and had a Doimo text, and the telefónica part, behind the driver, grey In 99' it was light green, and mazzacane and an italian were the drivers no?
oh man...I really want to own the PS03, the version which Justin WIlson had driven exactly. I'm not a huge guy but pretty tall like him. I've tried to sit in the Caterham CT-03 (2013) but feel a bit uncomfy at my knees.
Colin Brown because Minardi changed it to the M01 1999 car livery for showing the car at events with the new Telefonica sponsorship deal before the M01 was ready , common practice for lower budget teams back then .
Colin Brown it’s not been changed only because even though it’s M01 livery it’s still original Minardi paint and unique , the cars 100% original running the original electronics & engine , there’s not many running V10 F1 cars about of this late year that are around today + the owner likes the Livery .
@@petercsato6742 Not a show car but a 98 race chassis I n 99 livery , it was common practice for smaller teams to do this at the end of the season before the new car was ready for next season .
+Questa è Benzinah 100% original V10 , it's not the best sound recording and the driver is taking it easy after the cars restoration , you can hear the engine better on this clip ua-cam.com/video/FUZ9tAvDN-I/v-deo.html
I miss the Minardi F1 Team. The guys were so likable. 🏁🏆🏁 ☺

Yes, I know thanks. 👍☺
But the guys are not the complete old crew of Minardi. But this team is also cool. 🏁 🏆🏁
@@MrDavidthebest22 TR is not Minardi, damn idiot!
a 1998 Minardi running at half throttle is still better than current F1.
Ah the days of Tuero and Nakano.
Amazing car! The livery was one of the best parts about it. I wish the car models and engines were like this today!
Still better than F1 2016 lol
A lot better, if I'm not wrong this is the 1999 championship's car.
I think it is the 98 car but in 99 livery
Yes the car is in 99 livery , it was changed in 99 by Minardi , probably to use as a press car after the 98 season before the 99 was ready to display .
and better than 2017
Keep in mind that these old Minardi are still faster than any production to date.
It's a M198 in 1999 livery
Yes

@@julianvizio2190 As far as I know, Gené was in Minardi at 99.
@@julianvizio2190 in 2000 it was light green, in 99 it looked like this car in the video, Gene and Badoer were the drivers in 1999
Beautiful car, but why the short circuit ? The long one is awesome ! They should do that for the DTM as well.
Because the schedule was running late , this was the second run for the F1s that day and the first run was the full circuit .

fondmetal power
Thank you for slicks :)
You LUCKY MAN behind minardi wheel!!!
Beautiful car, but why is it in the wrong livery?
Colin Brown because Minardi changed it to the M01 1999 car livery for showing the car at events with the new Telefonica sponsorship deal before the M01 was ready , common practice for lower budget teams back then .
Thankyou moominter. I remember they did that, but with the effort of refurbishing her, why not revert her to her true colours?
Colin Brown it’s not been changed only because even though it’s M01 livery it’s still original Minardi paint and unique , the cars 100% original running the original electronics & engine , there’s not many running V10 F1 cars about of this late year that are around today + the owner likes the Livery .
Thanks again moominter.
love this car
Was there at brands pretty rare sight to see a minardi running. You got anymore runs planned this year?
Aaaaaaahhhhhh come mi manchi Minardi!!!
Very nice Sound *love*
สวยสุดยอด
Isn't that the 99 minardi not the 98??
Its a 98 in the 99 scheme that was done at Minardi .
+moominter nice one
@@moominter oh, so it is a showcar basicly? I was gonna say it is the 99 livery for sure. M198 had Roces logo on side pod with blue background.
@@petercsato6742 Not a show car but a 98 race chassis I n 99 livery , it was common practice for smaller teams to do this at the end of the season before the new car was ready for next season .
Would love to drive on of those
I was lucky enough to have a drive of this car : ua-cam.com/video/FUZ9tAvDN-I/v-deo.html
moominter pretty cool!
I know in 98 they used v10, but I can't tell if this is a v8 or v10. Anyone know?
V10
Es el de Tuero tiene la publicidad de Quilmes una cerveza Argentina
4:54 an '89 lotus passed the minardi, when it looks more faster than a lotus.
Cool
Marc Gene and Luca Badoer.... Nurburgring 1999
I wouldn't even let it out of garage for such a slow driving.
¿ y no tuvo avería mecánica? QUE RARO!!!!
uffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff i love this car
From the sound i think it's not the Cosworth V10...
The first engine sound is a 1989 F1 Lotus Cosworth V8 in the pit garage next door , the Minardi V10 starts later in the clip .
+moominter ok but even in the laps footage it seems that it's not the original engine :(
+Questa è Benzinah 100% original V10 , it's not the best sound recording and the driver is taking it easy after the cars restoration , you can hear the engine better on this clip ua-cam.com/video/FUZ9tAvDN-I/v-deo.html
Cosworth didn't supply engines for any team in 1998. All the Ford teams ran the Zetec engine.
moominter Thank you! :)
When was MInardi ever fast?
1989 & 1991
2003 wasn't bad either, pole position for Verstappen
Who is responsible for the running of the car then? Couldn't make out the mechanics logos on their clothing
TDF
¿2014? No es de formula 1
Why too slow?!
GKOBE because it was the first shakedown test after a long rebuild of the car
1999 no 1998
It's the 98 car with the 99 livery
This machine is Minardi M01 for year1999. It's not M198. M198 was made for year1998.
M01 was 1999, not 2001. 2001 model was the PS01
Tomas Wille That's right.
It's a 98 , its just in the 99 colour scheme , you can tell by the engine cover scoop .
moominter
They changed the car physics mid-season. The old car with new livery drove 4 races before changing the car itself. so its a 99'
100% a M198 chassis 1 , says so on the chassis plate , like I say it's just in the 99 colours .
Doesn't sound great
