That Coraline and Norman interaction in the rooftop is something what i've been wanted to see if those two interact each other. And how Norman didn't left Coraline alone and keep her accompany is amazing that she isn't alone. Funny thing is few weeks ago i discovered Laika Animatic Storyboard where Coraline meet Norman from 2018 and that scene of MK and Laika Animatic Storyboard have the same vibes.
Im not sure if im reading too much into this but I find the possibility of Norman fancying Dipper adorable tbh. The little moments where he looks over anxious abt how others see him and u see Dipper and when the twins are missing he says Dipper then stutters and tacks on Mabel! Plus his overall embarassment when Dippers involved lmao. You guys worked so well that it has me theorizing and treating it like it is its own fandom!
I can go on and on about how well written this all is. The nervousness when trying to reveal pieces of their lives to one another, the composition and artwork made by hardworking artists. The writing, the pleasing soundtrack, the overall story and character developement is just absolutely scrumptious

This is amazing!!! I can't believe its been so long since the first episode, it feels like it was yesterday. You can see the improvement with the composition clear as day and the animators and va's did such an incredible job. Kudos to everyone who worked on this project, you've made my year The Norman/Dipper is so cute in this! I love how subtle it is and it doesnt distract from the story but it adds so much character to Norman. 36:40 This scene!!! is!!! Amazing!! I was not expecting a fully animated scene, and the animator did such an incredible job nailing the same feeling you would get watching Coraline yeet the cat in the movie. I have to have rewatched this clip 10 times by now 14:00 seeing my two faves interact like this is such a dream come true, their relationship has always intrigued me. They would be such great friends 35:52 Lili having way too much fun setting things on fire was just such a treat (unlike the Beldams candy) I watched the first episode when I was kid and I had always wanted to help produce an episode of Mystery Kids. Sadly, I never kept up with my animation but maybe someday I'll be able to help with Episode 3 :)
36:40 was a great scene! Coraline finally had the courage to overcome her past trauma and did what she should have done to her other mother from the beginning! But I also like the moment afterward where she is processing what she just did; she knew that the Beldam wasn’t her real mother but she still resembled her.
I feel like every episode will be about the mystery kids facing a villain each one of them faced before meeting each other. The first episode was them facing dr loboto and this episode was them facing the beldam.
