Pedro's complete inability to get through the sperm scene was my favourite part of the live reading.

Gotta admit pretending they were all chloroformed is one of my fave moments.
I remember when I first saw that I was rotfl not seeing the 2nd chloroforming coming. One of the funniest things I have seen.

@@sashabird5695 I was watching this episode yesterday and was reminded that later in the episode, the group has a conflict with Jeff and as he walks away and everyone is wondering what to do about him, Annie is once again dousing the rag with chloroform when Troy stops dramatically. So funny

One small touch I love: Pierce’s lawyer still pronouncing his name “Ay-bed.” Like Pierce told him he was contractually obligated to pronounce that name the exact same way he did!
"Ay-bed the Ay-rab! Is that inappropriate?"

I feel it's more because that's how Pierce pronounced it so he only knew it as that. I could see Pierce insisting it's Ay-Bed.

My favorite interaction out of the whole show is in the episode where Jeff rolls the dice to see who goes to get the pizza.
Troy: "Hey guys, what does a pregnancy test look like?"
Jeff: "Its white, plastic, and has a rubbery thing at the end of it."
Troy: "Okay so this is definitely a gun."

Community is filled with so many quirky and unique jokes.. Like how they went from season 3 to season 5.
@@vivektammana8845 yeah I actually agree, it is pretty bad by the standard Community set (and I think that's why the fans hate it), but being pretty bad by that standard is still not near as bad as so many other things out there.
A bad Community season just means dropping to regular Sitcom good.

Which proved to be a grave error. When they are singing about their secrets in the puppet episode and Troy's secret is ten times worse than all of the rest of them, I bust out laughing every time!
For me, it's in the middle of it when the "spirit of rappers" takes over him and he stops doing a payday rap and turns into a OnePac Shakur. 🤣🤣🤣
The whole thing is funny as just a clip, but you’re binging the series and this cold open comes up out of nowhere!
To me the payoff was the close where he's at the desk trying to get the vibe back.

I know! I can see it now, 6 of the original Greendale 7 go back to visit their old community college after receiving mysterious invitations. Once they all assemble its revealed that Pierce Hawthorne himself sent the invitations, and faked his own death. Dean is still Deaning and Chang is living in the air ducts again. Professor Duncan is still there, Starburns is the Chemistry teacher, Magnitude teaches POP POP! 101.

To me, Keith David’s line in “Wedding Videography” when talking about Garrett: “now there’s a man who knows how to marry his first cousin” is the best line of the series. Thank you Yahoo for the extra season.
Objectively, I don't know if it is, but I literally fell on the floor and stopped the video for 2 or three minutes just to get that laugh out of me. I might have scared the neighborhood with that laughter...

It really is one of the best lines on the show. The setup of the line is pretty funny throughout the episode with Elroy complimenting white peoole but this line is an amazing payoff, so good

@@sawkevinnoel7954 Not a specific reference, but it's a common trope in anime to have a sort of anthropomorphic pet. Also, this clip reminded me of old anime shows like Speed Racer, which have a lot of reaction shots like that and it has a pet chimpanzee.

I read somewhere years ago that Donald did accidentally trip over him and he apologized as a reflex, but they kept it in. Idk if it was true or not, but I believe it in my heart.

My favorite moment was when pierce took all the flu shots and said "I'm going to be a living GOOOOD"
I love how they didn't tarnish Pierce's name and actually gave closure to the character despite the fact that Chevy chase was an asshole on set.
Chuck Lorre should learn a thing or two from community.

Tbf while he may have been an asshole Chevy had some valid complaints that weren't being addressed and drove him to be more of an asshole. He hated that they kept making Pierce more racist and bigoted with every episode , he wasn't comfortable with the direction they were taking the character
Also the work hours were reportedly 16hrs on consecutive days, with a mandatory 9hr break, that's all. Not a gig someone his age is going to enjoy regardless.
Dictionary eh that doesn’t really seem that justified to me. That seems like his ego is too big to play a villain. I just don’t like actors like that, you should be comfortable doing any type of character if you’re job is to do that. The only time I think it makes sense is if the writers are directly projecting their thoughts in the writing, but pierce is directly making fun of those types of people so it’s not one of those times.
Harmon was also a big asshole to Chase, to be fair. What made Chase finally quit was Harmon leading the rest of the cast in a "Chevy sucks" chant at the wrap party, iirc. Totally out of line.
The Pierce and Abed love montage in the S2 clip show has always destroyed me.

man Im at final season now , there's a part of me that wants it to end before it gets sucks and dragged on since the feeling is not the same from the first seasons and half of its original cast are gone , but damn Im 5 episodes away from the end and I'll definitely gonna miss this show . What a great experience , funniest series Ive ever watched.

Pierce's will reading is a brilliant scene. Perfect blend of heartfelt moment and alleviating comedy. Pierce did tend to be something of an odd-man-out in the group, but he was always able to see everyone's flaws and strengths from an outside perspective as a result (except abed, who kind of works on a more meta level than everyone else) and he genuinely cared about greendale and the study group as well.
The "let me explain" is my favorite moment ever. i cant even tell you how much it makes me laugh. the whole scene is just perfect, i wouldnt change a single bit
My all time favorite gag was when they were asked to stand on desks and a girl fell over. I was eating soup back then and I gagged and coughed for 7 minutes because I was laughing so much

One of the most underrated bits in the whole series is when the woman doing the lie detectors says they are lying about not wanting the money and Shirley shouting 'WE ALL KNOW THAT YOU JUDGEMENTAL BITCH'

@@jpuffy I'm just going by what Jim Rash himself said in the convention, maybe the bloopers where subsequent failed attempts so they used the first take.
I understand that Troy leaving was truly important. But this episode made me cry the hardest. It's beautiful how cool of a character Pierce is, to the point where it feels like he's there, yet he isn't. Amazing.

Fragile Crystal “Underrated” means when something isn’t as appreciated as it should be. For the original commenter, these clips from Community were underrated, so they weren’t really talked about or loved by many people. There’s also the opposite, “overrated,” which is when many people love something that might actually suck. But it’s all opinion-based and varies from person to person. I think Community is really underrated but my friend thinks it has way too much hype; everyone’s different. Hope this helped! 💓

It's sad that everyone just keeps on arguing about Chevy Chase being an asshole on the set, or Dan Harmon being unfair towards him; but nobody appreciates the fact that honestly, Chevy Chase did such a good job at playing the role he had, that he even convinced us in real life that maybe he was actually like Pierce in Season 1 - 2.
Kudos to the great casting.
Why does everyone have to connect random dots and incidents from real life and form a complete analysis of an actor?
The show turned out to be perfect. And I'm sure that nobody would have it any other way. It's the Crazy Quilt of Destiny at work here :)

After watching through the show for a third time now I sympathize with Pierce. He had a lot of great moments on the show, but I don't feel like his character was done as dirty as people make it out to be. It's a shame that he left. He's become one of my favorite characters this time around and I couldn't stand him the first couple of times I watched it.

the chloroform scene kills me every time. it just keeps getting funnier. every single detail destroys me. abed looking at Troy, the long silence, their reaction, Troy jumping over the body, the FUCJING CUT WHERE THEY'RE ALL LYING ON THE FLOOR AND FAKE GROANING, THE FACT THAT IT WOULD'VE W O R K E D, the moment you realise Annie's going to do it again, Troy tripping over...it's all icing on a beautiful cake

The Dean's rap is another one I rewinded like 5 times :) Another great on that's missing is Abed's Nicholas Cage breakdown in his apartment.

If I've ever seen a funnier moment than Dean Pelton getting caught up in a rap, then I've never seen it.

6:19 - 6:25 is still one of the absolute funniest moments of the series, that "here's your sperm" gets me every time
there’s TONS of golden jokes in this series and im sad that not a lot of people watch it. i myself found out abt this series a week ago and im already addicted now. its so entertaining and well written and there are moments that blown my mind away. its just so underrated
The interactions between pierce and Jeff are the best parts of community for me. They accentuate their characteristics so well

The episode of Pierce’s inquisition after his death is one of the absolute best, incredibly well written and perfectly paced episodes of television I’ve ever seen. The sperm canister scene is pitch. Fucking. Perfect.
