Would it be recommended to always reach close to 2k rpm to go from 1st to 2nd? im always having to fight the shifter into 2nd at lower rpms? most likely I'm putting unnecessary wear on my synchros?

It’s very light, power steering in this beast is crazy good. I had the chance to drive a 79 Series GXL double cab and the steering wheel was hard to control at first (because you got to twist it quicker than in other cars), but you’ll get the hang of it with practice
