- In this video, we will show how to remove and install the headlights in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. It can be useful when you replace headlight bulbs or do an HID / LED installation.

Went to a shop and the mechanic wanted to charge me $140 cause he was gonna take of the whole front bumper to replace the light obviously didn't know what he was doing .
I'm glad I seen this cause I did it myself and it only cost me $10 for the bulb !! Thank you

Had someone try to charge me 250 to do my marker lights. Just did it myself in an hour for $17 for the led bulbs. Brought it back now they should pass it.
Nice video. On the 2013 Genesis 2.0T I have, there was no need to do anything beyond what was shown in the video. I've looked at other videos which talk about removing the inside fender skirt but that wouldn't do anything. Take all the plugs out and the two bolts and carefully work out the headlight. A plastic prying tool is helpful to go underneath the headlight to carefully start working the headlight out. Overall took me 15 minutes.

I was able to change the drivers side bulb with my small hands and contortion but the passenger side is going to be hell. I got the cap twisted off but I cant find the right grip to turn the bulb loose. I have to remove my modified air intake housing to be able to get there. 2013 2.0T
Excellent video. It takes some patience to get them out. I heard of some removing the fender bolts as well do you think it's necessary?

Agreed......im an old head with a geni coupe 3.8 orig owner 180,000...all highway miles..not one issue except the battery last year and now the headlight.....to me its strange to have to take the entire assembly out....but there isnt any room....also the car loves tires, i need seats the leather ripped.....i drive at 50 mph when it rains....the car has no weight....but its a damn good car so far....and can haul ass

After spending over an hour trying to pull the stupid headlight out, I've decided that it's far easier to just spend an extra 5 minutes removing the 4 screws on the bumper and pulling it out. I don't believe this method is worth it in any way as it's usually slower and more dangerous
this is lazy and wrong. pull the bumper off or you risk dmg to the the headlight housing, paint on the bumper itself.. etc. bumper is two 8m screws and 2 or 4 push screws. dont be lazy
Agreed, the bumper cover takes 5 minutes or less to remove, not worth the risk of jacking something up.
