Thanks for this video. Especially the details of how to pop off the fasteners and unlatch the electrical connection. I just followed your video and saved a friend $500. The quote was $600+ and we got the headlight bulb for $105 resulting in a savings of $500 for labor.
Thank you for this. My turn signal socket needed to be replaced on my 2015. Very small inexpensive part. Dealer wanted to charge me roughly 400 to do what you just showed me, claiming it could take 2-3 hours at 140 an hr in labor. YeAh im getting my hands dirty
That is awesome to hear and glade I could help. Thank you for watching my video and anytime let me know what you want to know. I will try to make and upload
Hello, have you ever tried removing the front grill before, is it just a pull for the grill, or u need to take out the bumper to remove the grill as well?
Hello. I have a question 🙋♂️ I have a 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 Sedan and I’m trying to swab out my front bumper to a Genesis G80 3.3t sport bumper My question is will the grill sensor from my Genesis fit to the 3.3t sport girl? Are they the same?
Wow! Great job! I thought it was going to be a quick job, boy was I wrong! What a puzzle to just change a crummy little bulb. Bad engineering on car mfgs part.
I replaced the bulb in my G80 without removing the bumper. I removed the front cover under the hood and the air box to access the passenger side lamp.Remove the tire, pull the wheel weld liner and you have access to the back of the headlight housing. Remove the twist cover for the high or low beam, remove 2 screws from the bulb retaining bracket, pull the bulb (DS1) connector and remove from the housing. All this sounds simple but is time consuming and a PITA to remove everything to get to the bulb. My dealer wanted $300 for the bulb and about $200 labor. I bought the identical lamp at a local parts store for a bit over $80 and no labor cost.
Hey buddy I never opened but it only has few bolts 10mm socket(3-4 inside engine room,2 between door and fender ,1 under or around side skirt and 1-2 behind bumper brackets ) hope it helps
This car came like this for wrap but I think u can look at Hyundai mobis for genesis g80 sport grill it has two colors sliver chrome and ghost chrome I think u need to know ur vin number
What about the sensors? I’m converting my 2015 5.0 to the sport bumper, and I was wondering what needs to be done with the sensor going to the new bumper.
@@Xainlrd I'm looking to do the same, where are you getting the bumper from? Hyundai is charging over 2k for it. A good condition one on eBay is around 300$. Plus I've read on forums that you need extra components if your current bumper has the sensors and DRL.
Soon will do it for u but just in case two bolts at the both corners hold bumper to quarter panel and two bolts under taillights so it needs to remove two and few push pins underneath the bumper and than bumper is free so u can remove it but be careful for both side plastic brackets the one slide in hold bumper they are possible to break easy good luck
Thank you! I don't need to get to my headlights, but the front bumper removal is very helpful!
Glad it helps

I just want to change out the grill of my 5.0 to the 2019 sport grill. Will it fit and will all the sensors still work? I seen a grill on ebay.
