Galaxy grabbed the patent from porta cable, I had a orginal machine from the 40s and was the same machine down to everything the same all galaxy did was changed it over to a belt system! Porta cable made that machine to a t!

I hate the sound of those handles going into the machine lol. The last thing you hear before having to carry that thing out of the trailer, up the driveway, up the front steps, and to the 2nd floor all too often

Bona 10” is better ,lighter ,wider ,quieter. Still have my original 12” drum sander that I ran with backing paper ( creates a floating edge on the drum ! ) 38 years plus!

How is that compared to the Floorcrafter? Everyone i know who runs floorcrafter says its the best machine they ever used..

It has more weight to put on the head than a floor crafter, adjustments are easier to make as well.
