Just saw one of these things today; a flooring company redid our cherry livingroom floor. The motor on that sander is MASSIVE! BTW, for anyone reading this, it takes so much power that it needs to be either plugged into an electric clothes dryer socket (240V socket), or directly into the circuit breaker panel!!!
I have 2 bd12 machines and they both suffer the same problem , can someone help ? I have lost the startup kick on both and even thou i have replaced all capacitors and switches no luck . any comments anyone ?

What kind of belts do they take?

Are you sure you have it hooked up properly? If you do check the cord and plugs should fix it if it not the switch
