You’ve managed to capture a raw, cohesive sound that should have come out of this record originally. Very much enjoying this. It’s like Im hearing it for the first time and loving every minute of it.
ua-cam.com/video/JfxgpiDT41o/v-deo.htmlsi=V4bvewujM8dyBM0r It was a demo they did when making st anger from the presidio sessions. Always thought this would have been killer.
Of course! I want to make a video breaking down the whole mix, but I don't know when I'll get to it. It's a fairly simple chain, but it sounds huge. I used the Audio Assault Sigma EX amp sim, only the gate active in the pedal section, no overdrive. Crunch channel with the gain and master on 9, bass at 4.5, mid at 6, presence at 3, anything not mentioned was left at default. For the impulse, I used a cab preset from the Audio Assault Cali 412 Oversized IR Pack, the full name of it being SC-Cali412OSGNM-Carnitas. After the amp, I have a compressor with a slow attack and fast release that just accentuates the initial transient when I start playing, and then on the guitar bus there's just an EQ with a high pass at 56hz and a low pass at 9.4khz, a little cut at 100hz, a boost at 1khz, and a couple cuts at 2khz and 4khz. It is of course going through the master chain that has stuff on it as well, but that's the guitar tone on it's own. I hope this helps! Edit: The pickup in the guitar I used has like a 15k output, so if your guitar has a higher or lower output pickup, the gain might need to be adjusted.
Did you use the original guitar track or is this re-recorded? The isolated guitar stem (there's no master track, just what AI can detect) always has the sustained ring from the snare bleeding through, and isolating it is really tricky. This cover album is by far the best take on the material I've come across, very well done! By the way, check out some of my handiwork on ...And Justice For All ua-cam.com/video/HSLJydRNgXQ/v-deo.html
I wish you would do justice. Its alot better than st anger but the production isn't great. Obviously, the bass, i actually dont like the bass tone on the album, but it needs to be brought back but in a better tone. And fix the drums, like come on lars, they sound pretty bad.
Thanks for stopping by, and I appreciate the support! 🥰 Be sure to check the description for playlist and download links!
A true (b)anger indeed
This feels almost industrial, it's a whole new experience
That guitar solo 🔥

This entire Album has been reborn many times. And every time it does, it gets better
That’s is what st. Anger would’ve been like if Metallica wasn’t in the rubbles back in 03’, amazing work
Se agradece infinitamente ese repentino solo!
I love the original album, and you've made a great work with this version, thanks and congratulations
I truly love these covers. Any way we'll see some live covers one day?
Live in what way?
@@MichaelSheaAudio like a cover video style seeing you play guitar or something like that.
@@redbuddy12 Oh, no probably not. Sorry. XD
@@MichaelSheaAudio no worries! Still loving it 👌🏼
And people say Lars sucks, mans good, it’s just the fact that he’s associated with absolute talent like James, Cliff and Dave.
And Jason and Rob.
Cliff was great but so are they
Damn, why the Kirk shade?
@@dylanpage7436 he fell off way faster than everyone else
Lars is and has always been a hack. He can't handle any of these songs live, he's sloppy and hasn't improved in 40 years.
@@Serris412 and you are delusional.
Dude. How do we get you to do Dead Kennedy Rolls? Even just a loop would be sick.
I'm sorry, but I don't know what you mean. Could you clarify?

Bro it's literally your dad singing Slipknot it's so much heavier
What did you use to extract the vocals? They are pretty clear.

He didn't sing "St. Banger round my neck"...
It's not St. Banger, it's St. [b]Anger. The B is there but also not there. 😅

Would you be okay sharing the guitar tone used in the right channel? I cannot for the life of me seem to replicate the chorus sound

Nope! The only thing used from the original recording is the vocals, everything else was re-recorded! :)
Damn. Loving this shit. Other than that guitar solo, doesn't fit the theme and it comes and goes all too suddenly.
just like Kirk would have done
