Manual Transmission is a thing of the past. Yes it's fun to use, but it's Cons far outweigh the Pros. Automatic Transmissions(of New Age Cars) will ALWAYS be faster than its Manual counterpart. Not only that but, with my old Manual Car, stop and go bumper to bumper traffic was a bitch. Not to mention I live in the Mountains, so taking special measures to take off uphill, was a waste of time.
darkpill Honestly not that much. And do you honestly think it would be cheaper to repair a Manual Transmission on this Car? For even a BASIC cars Manual Transmission repair it isn't cheap. And if you go with a full replacement you're looking at anywhere from $1000-$3500. Now, take that cost and add into consideration what Car this is. Even with a Tranny Rebuild. It isn't going to be cheap. So, once more. Your argument holds no ground.
darkpill Correct you are. Seems nowadays the nicer the Car, the more problems you face with it haha. Maybe it is intentional. Especially since most would take it to Jaguar Certified Mechanics, rather than a standard one. Conspiracy?!?!! *cue eerie music*
Beautiful V6 sound and nice vid
Sounds really smooth and nice tone to it.
Sounds much better in person and behind the wheel!
Nice smooth tone sound to it. Sounds incredible!
Ohhhh my ears are in heaven!!!
The video is beautiful at 1080p 60fps :)
Sick sound!
Wrong description! ;)
Interior looks busy. But that sound!
I'd take the coupe version, please!
Next time try downshifting at least once instead of accelerating it like if there's no tomorrow. Downshift in this car makes unbelievable sound
i prefer this noisy to the v8
No.
chris bona Yes.
Bonerific0 No.
opmike343 the plot twist is that i thought the guy said he prefer the noisy v8.. thats why i said yes... so.. yeah
Normally I would agree that the V8 sounds better bus this sounds more like a jaguar to me.
If I had the money I'd take a V6 S with the stick. Convertible or coupe, wouldn't matter to me.
Same, id get it in a manual. Such a nice car!
+maximus9401 I want the stick...but wife can't drive a manual. Hey...maybe that's a good thing...lol.
NOW THAT'S HOW U DRIVE AN F TYPE!
I don't know why I really am not liking the V6 jag's sound. Much prefer the Porsche's flat 6. Even the GT-R sounds better for me.
Of performance V6 sounds the GT-R is the worst.
Drive the 370Z

Deez Nutz Enjoy spending $6K to replace your DCT when it breaks since they can't be fixed ;D

In a Jag you are actually looking at twice that amount. - 10-12K. Jaguar are quite famous for their failing transmissions.
