5:08 throwing axe horsemen try to aim at the charging knights, which have stopped cold after hitting the other cavalry. The throw goes too far ahead and massacres their own guys. crazy

Severed Claw death star go BRRRRR, your options were extremely limited.
4700 value, not enough to pay for him self, but he did turn the tide :)
Kholeks animations are super awkward and holding him back i feel like.
When you compare that to some of the newer massive beatstick units we got he just does one ground slam and stands there in recovery animation for a solid 2 seconds.
You know the Severed Claw is a raid boss unit when Pwn sacrifices Kholek (taking the lord died penalty in the process) by using the heal to keep them alive instead and it was 100% the right move.

The Severed Claw is always beastly. They and Nurgle Magic are a great combo.
Which is funny considering nurgle and tzeentch hate eachother so a nurgle sorc might well just watch them die on purpose.

really a pleasure that they buffed my boi kholek, he deserve it (and cost reduction to tyrion is pretty neat too).
Halberds have been pretty solid for me at countering Brettonian heavy cavalry if you run them as Chosen warriors of Slaanesh, and take a BSB with Banner of Rage and Enchanting Aura. Make the knights base initiative 1 with a +3 from charge, then you have a base 4 with +1 from mark of Slaanesh.
I commented the same thing. Sure great weapons hit harder but chaos warriors and chosen have such good initiative, always strikes last throws that all away. I also like enchanting aura and mark of slaanesh. They charge you, you hit first and just masacre them before they can do anything.
Cool to see Kholek. Can't remember the last time I saw him. (Although I was hoping for my beloved Brets.)

I think the only shot at winning was charging trolls with pegasis just after kholek does and terror routing them. They had severed claw just on top of them so killing them probably wouldn't work

Anybody know if the Chaos Lord on a Dragon can work with the Nurgle Sorcerer? I've been trying it on and off but I'm just not very good.

I hope someday people will find that dragon ogres,bull c centaurus (and maybe zoats) have weird stagger resistance and hitbox, that makes them out perform as hell. They do beat maneaters gw Crushers,who do owerstat them, do rape war bear riders with HALF health remaining ( and it is same price units), and so on.But nobody cares about that.
i wish my beloved bretonnia would get some new up dates, maybe a robin hood character and his merry men. maybe foot knights, or perhaps armor piercing arrows, a crude bombard cannon? anything new would be welcomed

Funy you say Kholek has plot amour because in the lore he probably has the least out of any characters. Dude somehow got killed by Settra in one on one fight.
that was fanfiction that got propagated through memes, that never happens in cannon. and he doesnt need plot armor, he is a literal mountain :P A "weak" character is saved by plot armor from situations that would normally kill them, it is a very small list of situations that could do that to Kholek and be called "plot armor".
Brets could have taken the second point if they had sent all their units there instead of trying to intercept Kholek and the trolls, they would have had cap weight and mists of the lady

I cant see mark of nurgle units in my warriors of chaos roster, nor a chaos sorcerer of nurgle. Does anyone know why this is? Am i missing a DLC or something?

@@stevenseagull4990 I will buy the dlc since it’s on sale, the other marks of chaos units do display for me just behind the dlc purchase option, the purple banner. However, still no nurgle units show, I will see if it changes.
@@EvanAsh14 Display might be bugged since Tamurkhan DLC also added a unit or two of mortals, but the main roster is in champions of chaos.

not being able to unsummon lords is a right direction, I still think CA should make it so if your lord die they cannot be resummoned.
Yeah agreed. (As someone who doesn't play MP only watches Turin's channel) Seeing a lord resurrect after being fully wiped out just doesn't look right.

Nah, combat lords already have a hard time justifying themselves vs caster lords.

Hard disagree about halberds vs GW on tabletop. Great weapons hit harder but make you always strikes last. Halberds hit a bit less hard but chaos warriors are already strength 4 so againadt most knights that is wounding on 2+. And woth mark of slaanesh, especially if you stick a character with the enchanting aura in there, will hit simultaneously or possibly even hit first when charged against some targets. Chaos warriors half elf levels of initiative and it is such a waste to throw that away on great weapons.
Severed Claw fighting from the very Start to the End and only lose a single Model.
Talk about some Cost effective Healing.
Bretonnia really needs to brought up to speed. They still play like a Warhammer 1 race
I disagree. They're the premier cav race and both Lance formation and the changes to Grail units mass really helps cement that.
The only thing that feels very WH1 is Feys chalice of potions just being a bound comet of Cassadora...
@@crazycakemanflies It's not so much about the viability of the meta build but rather the minuscule roster limiting the number of viable builds. That kind of rigidity is something I associate much more with warhammer 1.
