That longines is a definite keeper ! 👍🏼 Also I'd try and persevere with the seiko digital as I've had stuff like that before myself and after messing around with them on the odd occasion with "this and that" suddenly they just seem to spring to life as if by magic ! It's a real eureka moment and because you've been through such a long arduous emotional journey with them you find yourself reluctant to part with them In the end ! 😭

Nice finds. Try to search for "concave watch bands" for something that might fit the Tissot. Or, try to modify a normal strap with an excacto blade. Practice on some junk straps first. Good luck.

If the guy said the Longines is broken you have to think he played with it more than 2 seconds to see if it works. Do the minute or hour hands maybe not work?

I’m not sure, the hour and minute hand move fine when turning the crown. The watch has ran for around 6 hours straight and seems to be keeping perfect time.
This happeneds all the time. A lot of people don’t know how to use their watches
