- Last Thursday, Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL) pressed Attorney General Merrick Garland during a House Judiciary hearing on Thursday over his awareness, or lack their off of left-wing protests.
This is the first I have heard about this event, 2 weeks after it happened. No media coverage says everything!

This is such a small issue compared to all the other issues going on right now, it is nearly a non-issue. Lefties are virtue signaling, not overthrowing elections! Violence cannot be a solution, but the AG cannot possibly be expected to handle every single case that arises in these troubling times.
I'm no democrat, and I oppose whatever alleged violence might have occurred in this environmental protest, but these right wing nut bags trying to overturn a presidential election should make everyone concerned. If violent protests can change who our elected leaders are, what's the point of having an election?
This thing about the Interior Dept I just heard about myself. Who is controlling the news? Makes me wonder, am I being surveiled in my answers to comments on a question of real news?

January 6th was a deliberate attempt to intimidate the voters with threats of violence with the stated goal of overturning the election. You can agree with their cause or disagree, but please don't be confused about the facts. I don't like the results of the election either, but I'm not so bold as to think that bringing a gun to DC will fix it.

Both of these acts are indeed criminal but overall one is used as a political tool while the other is no less criminal but not acted on as the same importance. This guy doesnt ever seem to know anything, unless he heard about parents being violent at school board meetings from some news stations. That is what he said when he was asked why he felt he needed to send out the memo about parents being targeted.
When garland was defending his memo to create a task force to monitor parents at school board meetings he repeatedly cited the news as his main source of intel. So if corporate media wasn't covering it he might not be aware. He might want to change that if he is making policy, otherwise it will just reflect CNN talking points, which appears to be the case here.

That he doesn't know about the Interior Dept invasion is absolutely ludricris! People lose their jobs when they fail to brief their superior on these sorts of things. Causing them to be embarrassed before Congress.
Many of the Jan. 6, who were arrested are still in prison who have not been processed through the legal court system. The last I heard, they were in isolation, not allowed to have bail, not allowed to speak to an attorney and not allowed to even make a telephone call. A few have been processed but many more are still in prison. So, eight months later guilty or not, they sit in isolation. The violence and mayhem that went on all year, those rioters were let out almost immediately. Big difference in the treatment.
And what’s even worse is they’re not being treated so because they’re some massive threat, but kept in isolation so they can’t talk and counter their narrative

I watched all day on television the news of the okc attack, in a class of 6 kids in 5th grade our teacher was from Oklahoma City. No way should it be compared to Jan.6th. It was on the same level as 9/11 I watched all day in my senior yr. We see everything and we are a generation you undermined. We will keep watching.
Actions speak louder than words. The fact that he has taken no actions and made no mention of actions to be taken against left wing extremism makes it pretty clear they are operating on a partisan level.
