@Physics072 I agree, he also knows that you understand he is lying but a minority do. I have 10-20 guys on roofs two and three times as steep carrying 75-150lbs of shingles and then working all day on it. We could set up a tripod safely on the roof, easily.
He also knows the roof the SS was on happens to be steeper than the one in question. He is simply intending to convince the easily mislead, the authority fallacy crowd.

We went and ran dry runs at events just to cover every inch of every corners. We even knew exactly where our communications didn’t work or was weak. To avoid missed opportunities. And his take on the female agents was even worse. He said he worked with short GUYS who were studs. Again missing the point.

It would be fine if they simply found women of large, thicker athletic builds who are 6'2" (Trump's height) or above. There is value to having a larger/taller body as a Secret Service agent. That is part of the "merit" of being able to succeed in the job since you are a human shield.
The problem is, and it holds true around the world, that there are vastly more men over 6'2" then there are women. There are definitely women over 6'2" you just have a much smaller pool to pick from. And ideally you don't want some thin basketball player build either.
It was interesting to see Joy Reid of MSNBC complain about how the "right" was talking about DEI and secret service agents. She wanted to frame it as the right having a problem with women and black secret service agents just because they are bigots.
However, to the extent that the pool of black men over 6'2" and with thick builds is larger than the number of women with those attribute, there would have been no complaints from Trump supporters about such black agents.
Of course all this cultural and DEI stuff is just a tool to keep the little people at the bottom divided on two sides and fighting each other to ignore what is really going on at the true top levels of power in this country. When you pick for identity over merit and lower the bar, quite clear in this case, and you get a "reaction" from the other side you pull out "they are a bigot and sexist" card. This guarantees the culture war consumes most of the peasants attention.

I don’t think they played along. Robby pushed back with his questioning and didn’t just take this guy’s answers at face value. The guest definitely gave some BS answers, but now it’s up to us as the viewers to decipher that and look for additional info in other reporting.

That wasn’t pushback. There wasn’t one follow up of a question that pushed back. The last question was even set up by Robby in such a way to lead him with a narrative excusing the failure. Robby seems nice, but he just didn’t push back. The answers were deflecting and excusing

@@bpierce3404 after rewatching, you’re right, the only real pushback was Robby on that last question. They typically do ask more probing follow-up questions, they kinda missed on this one. Guest didn’t convince me, I don’t accept his explanation as the only possibility.

I didnt have training when I replaced my shingles and its pitch was quite a bit steeper than that roof. I'm 70 by the way.

it's crazy that roofers do it all the time without repelling equipment and specialist training. I, myself, have been on my own roof, which is highly sloped, and somehow survived.

We didn't judge her by her looks. We witnessed her in the midst of doing her job. If she had found a way to cover him well despite her height or if she was able to find her gun & later holster her gun quickly & effectively, that'd be one thing...but we watched her with our own eyes, scared & struggling. So no, we're not judging her appearance, we're judging her performance that we saw in real time! SS are supposed to be the best of the best, & that's not the performance we witnessed from her (not to mention others).
