Yes you push for 3-5 times . You don’t press once and count 10sec . Sorry my friend . But push push push push and push to have a great bubbles in your drink:)
I’ve had one for years, and I don’t make mine like that. I use very chilled water to the line, pop it in the machine and give it 4 or 5 blasts on the big top button (there is only one button) release it from the machine, add the syrup, but don’t shake it! Turn the bottle three times top to bottom. Open gently, add a shart load of ice, pour and there you go, coke!
Please explain what is the difference between original cola sold in the shop and this one? What is the point to buy this sodastream and waste time to prepare the same drink?
Less waste as well. But, I drink mostly water, coke zero, coffee in the morning. Sometimes I may want my water to have a bit of flavor. Instead of keeping a variety of flavored water around, I just have a couple of bottles of syrup (they're not big),and I'll flavor it as I wish. I still buy my cokes because I drink quite a bit, but it tastes the same with the sodastream too. I just use it when I want to add something to my water. To be fair, I got mine as a gift from work, but I've always wanted one and I'm glad that I have it. Probably wouldn't buy one because it's kind of an unnecessary convenience, but it's still a convenience that saves me from having to buy cases of flavored carbonated water.
You don't need to twist the bottle. It clicks into place - you can feel and hear it. If it doesn't seat properly you will have water everywhere. I use 3 one second squirts of the CO2 which is fine for me. Also the instructions say to never put the syrup in first - you can destroy the mechanism. Don't know if that's true but not going to take the chance, so never put it back in after the syrup goes in to get more fizz.
I have a soda stream and mine screws on. There's no snapping or clicking it in. Mine is an older model so it depends on what model you have as to how the bottle attaches to make a seal when you're filling it with CO2.
The C02 gas has volume. It occupies physical space. So when you insert a bunch of it in between the water molecules, it displaces the water just as boat would, except it's billions of bubbles of gas rather than a solid object. Anyway, displacing water in a closed cylinder builds pressure and causes the water to occupy the head space at the top. Eventually it will overflow. It can also overflow when you add things to the water. The gas gets disturbed and comes out of solution in a rapid burst.
Did you fill your bottle with water or lemon juice? Also when you put your bottle in you don't need to twist it! Another also.....you can't add fizz after adding the syrup
Isn't that just micro bubbles in the water? If you let it sit for a minute they work their way out. It happens a lot with hot, the water comes out looking white instead of clear.
Easiest way is you could buy yourself some sparkling water and still get syrup mix. Just like you would do with orange or other flavour diluted squash and then put with water, you do the same with the sparkling water and then put the syrup and there you go.
its still cheaper to make it sparkling yourself, not to mention the less pollution you make with all those empty plastic bottles, aaand you can still make it fuzzier if you want again.
i worked for Pepsi when these came out and they gave everyone a free Soadastream, and I never used it. Just decided to try it and it kinda sucks the bottle doesn't screw into the nozzle lol
So could i reseal the bottled soda and gift it to a friend? Got a birthday coming up and wanna make soda and give it to him but i dont want him opening it and complaining that its flat and me wasting over $100
Each tank makes 60L. I did the math based on the seltzer that I buy, and I would save about 30 dollars making that much over buying it. So it depends on the brand you are buying. If you want to make it healthier and not use cornsyrup or coloring, than it would be worth it. I also read that if you go to a soda stream retailer, they will refill the tank for you for free if its still in good condition, but I need to look more into that
yes, for a sodastream. they say only to fizz water. that was the major dealbreaker for me. the minute you add syrup to the seltzer, it goes flat. my drinkmate can fizzy the water and syrup combined. and it cost me half the price. i even use sodastream co2 cannisters with it too.
@@BobRooney290 i think your bottle didn't fizz properly I fizzed mine twice on button 3 and then added pop and it fizzed up just like soda instead of turning into juice
I have never seen anyone use the nuka cola recipe and use this machine at the same time. Like just imagine how better that recipe will be instead of using sparkling water or seltzer water etc.
You've gotta really be into it. I just did the math. It's about $.54 a can buying by the case for regular Coke or Pepsi. SodaStream works out to about $.65-70 a can when factoring in flavoring, Co2 cannisters and the initial purchase amortized, factoring in eventual replacement. So, you're paying for the privilege of the hassle which means you better really enjoy the hassle.
Onlyif you pay full price for the flavors. A little searching can find them on sale. The one I am using now only cost 2.35 per flavor bottle. They are Ginger Ale and Cherry Cola.
I am very surprised with how it made pepsi I drink Pepsi everyday and i will say that it's pretty good I found ny sodastream at a thrift store so I scored there with getting it for so cheap under $10 I like it so far. Can't wait to try the other Flavors like root beer or 7up and maybe some sparkly flavored water
My issue is that is not really fizzy enough, I want real soda levels of Fizz, soda streamers need to make a version that makes more fizzyness, some of us aren't sane you know, we want quality soda like fizzyness.
i just got one and i like it. easy to use. i purchased sierra mist (non diet) syrup made by soda stream. it tastes like crap. why? probably because it has sucralose. i also, purchased diet pepsi syrup made by soda stream. that tastes just like diet pepsi. it also has sucralose but that's the way it's supposed to taste.
The cloudy water is most likely caused from air in the line. It's not dirt - it's tiny air bubbles. If it sat for 30 seconds longer, it would have cleared up. Our lines do that sometimes too.
Soda stream is a rip off it’s so rubbish waste of time and money the gas finishes too quick like the comments it’s better to buy fizzy water and mix yourself

do you use more or less if making soda compared to the bubly drops ?
exactly
Looks flat truthfully. I was expecting to see at least some foam rise when opening the cap. Not sure I want to buy this now. Just being honest.
nope it was really good, you can pump it with more if you want extra fizz though
A little extra tip don’t press the button all the way down the water will splash everywhere
Mine is broken. Could you make a video how to fix it?
How many of these 700mil bottles can you make with 1 co2 cartridge and what is the price of the co2 cart?
around 80+

You can literally make it at home instead of going to the store and buying one every day whenever you want it. You save more money.
And fun!

Does CO2 tanks fit all these machine models, like is there difference if it's Sodastream or Sodaworld from silvercrest?
Do you have to use carbonated water??
I didn't believe that it could taste the same. It really does
100% so good
I think it tastes even better than the real thing. A lot smoother imo
The same as what? “Real” cola?? They use syrup too!!
I just saw the pepsi thing on target, so it really taste like pepsi or not?

How do I know if the CO2 needs replacing?
Some dispensers have an indicator light or gauge that shows when the CO2 is running low.

where do you get that coca cola syrup?
most likely he meant pepsi as sodastream doesnt have cola
@LoriSmith55 at the time Ive ordered mine, there wasnt any cola so my bad. Other than their classic Energy and RockStar, do they have Monster or nah ?
That’s some good pop!
Great use of the clock. I can use that! I got my SodaStream today.
how much cola do you put in
Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing!
Is the bottle not see through?
how long does the co2 tank last?
Depends on how fizzy you want your water to be. With considerate use one co2 tank lasts for about 60L of water
