Ace the only thing more fabulous than you making a figure of the ice-cream man is making a huge statue of the ice cream man. I don't believe there is a human being on this Earth that would not pee their pants or even worse if confronted by him. Absolutely bone-chilling.

Ace I don't know if you've ever done this if you have I haven't seen it but I think it would be amazing to see you make an image of yourself as you see you. I hope that made sense.

I don't know how you do it. I'm a sculptor who works with clay, also. I've tried epoxy putties, air dry clay, puffy clay, wood clay, and everything else, but I can't seem to work successfully with anything other than polymer clay. It's amazing how you manage to keep the quality level so extraordinarily high in so many different mediums. Apoxie is notoriously difficult to work with, and the fact that you were able to work with it on such a huge scale is absolutely astounding. I am truly in awe of your ridiculous level of talent.

Hey @ace of clay. Have you thought about building an ice cream man marionette. The body sculpture for the large build is almost marionette like.

I'm personally the opposite, it blows my mind that people can sculpt with polymer clay and I personally work exclusively with apoxie sculpt. That's just what works for me.

I love working with apoxie sculpt, green stuff and polymer clay I used solely for years but now I prefer apoxie and green stuff because of the air drying and strength of it also the level of detail you can get, I recently have got into foam clay and I have to say I love it especially for sculpting hair on figures I'm enjoying finding out what it's capable of

    • @WispKeeper69

Maybe invest into using a LOT of polymer clay? Way more expensive, but it's what you're used to...

Wow, he is scarier than the original!! I love him. Oh yes,try soaking ur ‘shirting’ fabric for a few hours in undrinkably strong black tea. Rinse well and dry. Gives a great vintage just out of the grave dirty look.

I haven't been subbed long, so hadn't seen prior stuff with the ice cream man. Really love how you designed his face with flat teeth-- it's sooo tempting to give anything meant for horror those angler fish needle teeth, but the uncanny valley effect that humanoid teeth give can be so effective, it's really under utilized

I think the ice cream man “Albert” you made back in 2020 was so dang brilliant and this recreated sculpted doll is absolutely fantastic! I think In this doll the love and appreciation for this character is really embed into it- not only are the details and creep factor in there but it’s also kinda refined to the point it makes it look 100x more cool

Could we see a video explaining how the mint ant universe interacts with the human universe in more detail? How exactly do people end up in the realms? Do the mutants go in and out between the two? Are the realms like a mirrored version of our world? Are they separate? Simi-integrated? Are there thin spots between the two, or is it areas that hold a door between the two? If you are in the mutant universe can you influence our reality in way such as what we call paranormal activity, or are those encounters mutants that are hiding out on our side of reality? I am really enjoying the lore of your universe and I would love to know more. Thanks!

You have a really nice sense of play with your work. I'm a professional painter and illustrator, and I've really been struggling with motivation for longer term projects. Play is important for the long haul, for multiple projects, and I freely admit I don't play with my art much. It's hard to look at art playfully, and more people would do art if they weren't so afraid of judgement and more interested in playing.
Thanks for showing us how you work.

Since I was very young I’ve always worked with some sort of clay medium even homemade recipes. I’ve found a few over the years I love especially in the air dry department but nothing compares to the scale at which you are creating Icecream man and the balance you have to have in your epoxy mixture. Super props and respect Ace for choosing such a challenging medium and for creating his entire outfit as well. I can definitely see a mutant Halloween collection in your future. Great job on him and for keeping it real.

The Ice Cream Man came out awesome! I had a huge moment of deja vu when you mentioned making the clothes out of actual fabric, back to a project last year in school where I decided even though I have minimal sewing experience, I was going to sew an entire teddy bear by hand. I wanted him to be kind of plushie sized but then he just started to become... bigger than I anticipated, but it was easier to add a lot of decorations out of hot glue and different fabric patterns, and I love the way he turned out despite never doing it before and deciding to literally hand sew everything instead of a sewing machine XD
I love watching your videos! You're doing amazing!

This looks FANTASTIC. I watched your previous videos on the Icecream Man. And the lore is really cool!
Personally I like the idea of him still selling ice cream but with a twist. Like he sells to the dead in some way.
To the killers, victims, random kids, spirits, soulless corpses he cleans up. It could go in so many directions.
(Sorry! My mind spins when I see ideas I love! Whatever you do to expand his lore I look forward towards!)

Ugh! I wish I had found this channel a couple ago. I'm going to school for stop motion animation. My first semester I had a basic stop motion class and we made an armature. It was recommended to use balsa wood blocks and I spent so much time craving those. Still wasn't what I wanted cuz I ran out of time. Flora foam would have saved me so much!! He is one moving jaw away from a ventriloquist's dummy. So creepy. I sort of want something like him!

I really enjoyed watching your large Ice Cream Man sculpt, as I was watching it accured to me that he looks like a zombie Don Knotts a little.

Love your videos. Would like to see you sculpt one of the “Gentlemen” and “footmen” from the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” episode “Hush”. I think they’ll make really cool sculptures.

This came out super cool!!! I'm actually really impressed by the details in the wrinkles/nails and how well the bow-tie/collar came out! Fantastic work.
If you end up doing something like this again, you might want to try looking into the "ladder stitch" also lovingly called the "Jim Henson stitch"! You might also love the results of using a black tea to stain the fabric to a nice vintage yellow brown.

Okay… What he know about a weave and some tracks? I love Ace of Clay, I have no more videos I could binge watch… I’m all caught up. 2022 hasn’t been the greatest what’s so ever and y’all who do UA-cam don’t know what you guys videos does for a person, took me from reality for a little while and I appreciate. It amazes me how he can take clay, dirt and turn it into this (by the way THE creepiest to me by far and his name is Ice Cream Man, creepy 😬 love it) I have a few channels including this one that I watch faithfully #neverunsubscribing
