Corpses. The pots are full of rotting corpse flesh and the pots flesh bits are made of it bursting out of the jar to form limbs. In the lands between their purpose was to collect corpses, wander over to an erdtree, and then be smashed open so the corpses would act as fertalizer for the trees while the erdtree would facilitate rebirth for the corpse.
This was amazing. As a huge souls fan, this is easily my favourite thing you've made. Absolutely terrific!

When I saw this beautiful round lad I thought "this would be something north of the border would make" and a week later, here we are. I think a princess mononoke/elden ring crossover would be really cool since torrent is literally yakul and I will forever call him yakul. Just an idea I had, but whatever you make I'll watch a day later, since that's when youtube always recommends me your new video, and leave a like. By the way, I'm still convinced you're just a pair of floating hands.

For a bit of morbid lore, the thing that animates these pot-boiz is their content, human corpses.
The Living Jars actually believe they can grow stronger by filling themselves with the corpses of great warriors.
It gives a surprisingly positive impression, as if these beings exist to honor fallen warriors by giving their strength meaning even in death.

After a long week of work, this video forced me to relax and consider the finer things in life. Too often we focus on the unbeatable battles like big guys on horses. When we should be focusing on the small joys in life, like anthropomorphic pots who need a helping hand.
