- This 3D animation shows a realistic representation of a child developing in her mother's womb. This is a month-by-month guide, seeing a baby's journey from the very beginning at the moment of fertilization, and follow along to her birth 9 months later. We see her bouncing around in the womb at 11 weeks - before her mother can even feel her movements! - and responding to light at 27 weeks. Then, we see her preparing for birth, after which she will gain a whole new set of experiences in the world outside the womb.

There is nothing like a mother’s love. I can’t imagine loving anyone more than my baby. He’s 2 now and my world. Baby number 2 is due in February and I’m excited to meet her.

I'm 23 years old, and this is my first pregnancy. I'm 11 weeks pregnant, and it's really overwhelming. I always feel acidic, and I tend to feel nauseous almost every time. My parents didn't even know that I was pregnant, and I'm too afraid to tell them. Those who have Asian parents will totally understand. I knew from the very first moment that I would do everything to protect my baby. I guess it's true that a mother's love is the greatest of all.

I'm from the Philippines, btw, and it's 9:30 pm here; I just woke up from a nap. Even sleeping can be challenging; I woke up not feeling well due to a headache. Having a headache all the time is so exhausting. I'm a call center agent, and I do the night shift due to an international account. Having a bad routine every day worries me. I don't even have time or energy to exercise after my shift. I decided to resign, and I'm now rendering the remaining days this month. I don't even like my boyfriend these past few months; I can't explain why I'm always angry at him and want to punch him in the face. My boyfriend is a good man, and I love him very much. I know that he is going to be a good dad to our baby, but I really can't explain why I'm always irritated when he's around.
Hi, it's ok to feel overwhelmed. I'm 28 yrs old, 16w pregnant and still feeling overwhelmed. It's great that you want to keep the baby even though you're not married - I'm asian too so really understand how strict Asian parents are about this. My husband is the greatest man in this world and I am still angry with him sometimes, it's just the hormones changing, it doesn't mean we are bad people or we don't love our SO. @emmawieson2121 The only reason I know of when someone won't call it a baby until it takes its first breath is so they can take its life through abortion and not feel guilty.
If it's not a baby until it's first breath, what is it then....a puppy, a cockroach, a giraffe? What? If you're going to say a zygote, a fetus or some other name, they are all one in the same. A baby, at different stages of life.
Like it was said in the first place.... it's a baby from conception. A baby in the womb, growing and alive until it is born, where it continues to live after taking its first breath. That's how it worked in all our lives. ❤

Every time I watch this kind of video i always tear up. I wasn’t aware about my pregnancy until week 6/7 because I had Covid a week prior so I thought it’s a side effect of Covid that I had terrible nausea and no period. Turned out I was pregnant. My husband and I are now in long distance but thankfully our baby is healthy. Thinking that she was developing inside my womb when I did not even realise makes me feel so emotional because at that time I was on night shift and so much going on in my life. She’s now 30w, going to be 31w in 2 days 💕

So long as they don't call it a 'clump of cells'. It's understandable to not be ready to be a parent, but it's insulting and inhumane to call what is a developing human being little more than a 'clump of cells'. There is room to be pro-choice while also respecting human life. Please remember that.

Congrats! It's my first pregnancy and I felt the baby around 12-13 weeks very subtly. Turns out I'm carrying her extremely low and it's normal to feel them early if so. I mean like she's in my pelvis and I'm 17 weeks now... so yeah very low!

8 weeks pregnant and anxious. I don't have morning sickness, no vomiting, no bleeding but the rest of symptopms i have it even some strange ones. The midwife told us it's too early to do ultrasound and hear baby's heartbeat and if we want to be sure we have to go back in my 13 weeks. My hubby who is more anxious than me because its our first child, wanted to book a private clinic and do the ultrasound. I think we are going to do that so we can sleep both properly at night.
Really? I went in at exactly 8 weeks and the Dr found the heartbeat right away. I'm not sure if that midwife knows what she's talking about if she doesn't know the heartbeat can def be detected at this time. I would def get that done right away for your "peace of mind" .. I'm 8 weeks, 3 days ..huge congrats on your pregnancy! 🥰♥️♥️♥️♥️

It is not abnormal that you don't have any symptoms & the baby's heartbeat can definitely be detected at 8 weeks.
You can also try to do a new pregnancy test if an ultrasound is not an option? It won't give you 100% certainty, but it might reassure you that you're still pregnant. The 13-week ultrasound is at least in Canada and in Belgium the dating ultrasound (due date), but pregnant women usually have one ultrasound before that one at 8 weeks to hear the heartbeat.
I'm 15 weeks pregnant with our first child and we heard our baby's heartbeat from the first ultrasound at 5 weeks. I can guarantee that you'll be able to hear your baby's heartbeat at 8 weeks. As you said, book an appointment so you can have the peace of mind. Congratulations and I wish you a smooth pregnancy and delivery! 💕
How odd. I had one at 9 weeks (2nd) and 11 weeks (1st). And those were just when they could schedule me. 1st they were busy and I had to wait a month, 2nd they had expanded and I got in within a week of a positive test.
I found out I was pregnant 3+4 and the only reason I tested was because of all the symptoms. I was still waiting for my period, but the test was positive. Keep in mind I tested at night right before bed 🥰

I'm 4 weeks 4 days pregnant my last period was 20 Jan 2023 and I drank alcohol this month not knowing that I am pregnant. I have stopped drinking now but is it going to effect my baby??

@@dr.paulinemoyaert I’m just little sad and worried because I have ovular detachment. In April I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and I need to rest. This is very hard for me because I like to do my things, such as clean my house, go to the grocery shopping, etc… but I believe that God is taking care of me and my baby and soon I’ll win this phase ❤️

im 5 weeks pregnant and i experienced abdominal cramps and back pain even my legs hurt and also got spotting last march 7, 2023 and march 10, 2023. does it still part of implantation?
The baby should already be implanted at 5 weeks. If you're worried, I would suggest making an appointment with you doctor 💛
I Hope everything is going okay for you and that you talked to your doctor. Spotting can be normal but you should always check with your doctor to be safe

by any chance do you drink a lot of water?! according to my midwife pregnant women should be drinking a gallon of water every day and i want to say that has really helped me! especially with eating because i get super hungry these days🤭
