I remember watching a video talking about how there are not many new bands coming out these days. The Force M.D.'s didn't sound familiar when I saw the title of this video. I thought I was going to hear Jazz but once the video started playing the song I knew it was the 80s and I had to have heard something from this band and looked them up. Then I saw the song most familiar to me by this group and it is "Tender Love".
You need to dig in to the Force MDs some. They were really hot in the 80s and one of the first groups that blended hip-hop and R&B elements from my memory. Check out "Tender Love", "Touch & Go", "Forgive Me Girl", "Here I Go Again" and "Couldn't Care Less". Sadly most of the group has passed on. TCD had a unique voice and was a good performer.
