You know, I'm kinda curious what life would've been like for the first Guardians. Were they embraced by soicety, or cast out? Were they feared or reveared? I think the most important question is whether they were people or people. I kinda wanna work on some world-building for this idea, and maybe eventually start writing a story.

This is the art that is in Grimoire based lore. It is the art syle of Faysal. The other lore videos, such as the Books of Sorrow etc, will have different art styles.
This is definitely making me speculate that Rezyl Azzir becomes Dredgen Yor, what with his thoughts growing dark, and Intently staring at the moon, which definitely could be indicitae of the hive, which the Thorn has a strong relationship to. Idk, but piques my interest indeed.
Do the Eliksni actually experience any sort of victory on their behalf ¿ It seems like they try so hard on everything, but always fail or are left behind. Besides Variks joining up with the Queen. (But then again the Queen dies..) I actually feel sorry for them.. Their are probably even the most coolest and stylish among all the enemy races.

Probably not but maybe. I think the iron lords were some of the first guardians because they fought the warlords. So if that's true then Lord Saladin is a first guardian. I believe it's said somewhere that he's around 200 years old.
Pretty late reply but: We know both Zavala, shaxx and the speaker existed before the city and helped build it. Same goes for Saladin who was an iron lord. Drifter was also alive but he doesn’t define himself with a class.
Dredgen Yor who is most commonly believed to be a hunter(Not confirmed) was one of the more heroic guardians and a crucible legend. But as he wielded thorn it did eat away at his light. In short he went from a noble guardian of the light to a weapon of the dark. Its even speculated he turned on fellow guardians. To be eventually killed by Shin malphur wielder of The Last Word
I am probably one of the few who actually doesn't mind the lore to be in game. It gives us "nerds" something to look up if we actually want to know about shit. I mean does every gamer want to know what's going on, or do they just want to play the game. :P
Destiny lore is so interesting, and the artwork that went with it makes it even better

Possibly. But considering Rezyl was a Titan and and Dredgen was a Hunter, it seems unlikely. But maybe they knew each other
+Overblaze actually Dredgen was most likely a warlock. If you look at his grimoire card it shows a warlock.

+DimondMine27 if you read the next grimoire of Rezyl, it also notes he has a "Cannon" which I'm almost 100% percent sure that means Hand Cannon.
