I love books and perfumes. I need those books. I hung my vintage purses from the 20's to the 40's on the wall. They are too beautiful to be stashed away in a closet.
Pink Sugar is such a comfort fragrance 😊 I love that it’s a classic in the frag community, we probably all own a bottle, yet it’s almost non existent out in the wild, at least here in the UK. I’ve never seen it anywhere! In the spirit of liquorice/anise love, Loverdose would fit right in to your collection here (though maybe it’s not as strong as some of these). Definitely warm and cosy for cold days. Such a cute bottle, too 💜
I love Lolita Lempicka perfumes, they've got some of the magic and mistery of childhood, they are sweet but not gourmand, long-standing but very modern at the same time...When I spray one of them I feel like a witch casting a spell. I have tried Pink Sugar and Pink Sugar Berry Blast, PS Creamy Sunshine, but they are no for me.
Mine is totally lattafa’s Oud Mood and Ishq Al Shuyukh. These are both amazing scents that are super cheap (less than $17)!! Worth checking out and both backup bottle worthy-and I don’t even believe in backup bottles, lol, except for SJP Lovely. Your videos are great and hello from cold Michigan 🥶
Sadly I got a stomach flu once while wearing Pink Sugar. Now the smell is associated with intense nausea for me 😂😂😂 My cold weather favorites are Vintage Opium, Bijan, and this Poison clone called Position (which I learned about on Sara Mayes channel) layered over ET’s Passion …or you could use OG Poison over it if you want to splurge. That last combo is a BEAST. Alternatively you can spritz 1 part Passion and 2 parts Position into your hand with a big dollop of original scent Jergen’s lotion and spread all over. It’s softer and beautifully soapy.
The stomach flu can really ruin things. There were a few years when I couldn’t even think about pizza without shuddering. I would like to have Poison in my collection. Maybe I’ll try Position.
@ Poison is so good. There’s lots of vintage still available too. Position is just basically a sheer version with more plum, not as long lasting -but it’s pretty inexpensive.
I love Adam Levine in cool & cold weather. I went to a late night movie with my family in our pajama sweats and booties recently. We all brought fuzzy throw blankets and pillows to snuggle with in the theater. I kept smelling wafts of the perfume every time I adjusted my blanket or ate a candy. It was cozy vanilla-woody magic.
Hi Corina! I really wanted to like Raghba Wood Intense because I love the original Raghba. However, this is so weird to say, but to me it smells like someone barbecued mesquite ribs on a charcoal grill and I happened to be in the crossfire on me!😆 Perhaps it because I live in a tropical climate, (an hour away from Miami) so it probably doesn’t pair well with all of the heat and thick humidity. Hopefully I can pass it on to someone who lives up north and they don’t smell like a barbecue 🍖 😅
Noooo not the story deleted based on better judgement! 😆 I was so hooked. I love Nasomatto Absinth. I got two very fairly priced decants in my ScentBox subscription and plan on getting a bottle after I finish up the last of it. It’s so wonderful. It’s funny, I am testing Stora Skuggan Hexensalbe today which some people have compared to Nasomatto Absinth. I’ll have to compare them side by side, but so far Hexensalbe feels more sweet and with an added prominent licorice note.
I think absinthe smells like the artemisia note(?) It smells like the herb sweet Annie - which has a kinda chamomile vibe(?) - they're all in the same genus of plants (Artemisia) so.....
Pink Sugar - has it been reformulated? 20 years ago, I used to wear it. Once, I sprayed it on myself in public, and some man who didn't see me put it on exclaimed, "somebody smells like sugar cookies!" lol.

I’ve been thinking about loverdose
Raghba Wood Intense is one of my favorite Lattafa fragrances. I pretty much limit it to a cold weather bedtime scent. I think it's cozy.

Thanks for sharing your perfumes 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🤩
You’re welcome!
Just staring to listen but first I noticed your books. I love Sibella Court!
You do? That’s awesome!

I gotta check into Absinth. I'm currently waiting on my bottle of Adam Levigne you suggested!

Yeah. I can’t think of too many uses for BBQ perfume! Hope you can find it a chilly new home.
To me Pink Sugar smells like burnt cotton candy, I still kinda like it 😆
Me too

I’m so glad you appreciate Absinth! It’s great
@@MyPerfumeMapAlso, thanks for sharing Sibella Court. My library has Life of a Bowerbird and I just put it on hold.

Your mom is not a regular mom, she is a cool mom 😂
She is something else!
Did you realize the licorice theme you had going here?
Yes! I would have added it to the title but Upstairs Window doesn’t have it. ❤️
I gave away my pink sugar. I just don't enjoy it anymore.

I don’t know if it has been reformulated. I can see sugar cookie
@ Must still be the original formula then - good. It really was released before it's time. It probably flies off the shelves now.
