The folks on Fragrantica or other pockets of fragcom truly need to see this information. Just the orher day I read some comments to the effect of - "I wish people in my area would grow up and wear actual perfume. They only ever wear B&BW or Victoria's Secret." I have clapped back a couple of times (politely, though if I'm honest, I feel like saying things in a sassier tone) about Twilight Woods and Forever Red specifically. And it's so funny, because it wasn't an unsolicited compliment (I asked him to smell my wrist), but my husband also thinks Twilight Woods smells fancy 😆😊 Forever Red is lovely! You might truly enjoy it if you can find it 🥰 It’s also quite fluffy, and it has Honorine written all over it. She's AMAZING 👏 Thanks for your vids! It's really fun to see who is behind some of these compositions. It's almost criminal how affordable these gems are...
YES I agree, this perfume snobbery gets slapped in the face when people find out that this B&BW fragrance has the same nose as the person who created Black Orchid, some Kayali fragrance or Dior J'adore!🤣😂🤣
Great video! I love looking up the perfumers and my favorite perfumes and bbw scents on Fragrantica. I’m glad this starting to be talked about because it makes me laugh how stuck up people can be. Some will say bbw is cheap to them and smells cheap to them and it just shows how superficial and pretentious they are. These perfumers will not attach their names to cheap smelling scents
I buy designer, niche, middle eastern and indie fragrance AND I have a soft spot for B&BW. In general I don't really care what people thinks that I should or shouldn't do, but you're right that there's some kind of stigma in the perfume community regarding B&BW. I've seen catty comments on some fragrance groups that I didn't like, in fact I left one of Facebook's big fragrance groups after one of those remarks (it was something like "get a real grown-up fragrance"). I don't like people telling me what to do and I don't need that kind of judgement in my life 🤭 Everyone should wear whatever they enjoy or can afford in peace.
Okay wow this is good information! I had no idea about the origin/creators of these. I fell in love with Butterfly this year and now it makes even more sense!
Oh Corinna!!! This was wonderful! I have tried Luminous (David Apel) in the foaming soap form and it's the only B&BW soap fragrance that made me want to go back and look for an EDT. I think it's gorgeous! I'm not that well versed on B&BW but I agree with you that they do a noble thing in offering these high quality fragrances for a more affordable price point. And I do agree they are high quality! Of course I was thinking that's something Avon does too, and then you said it!
I LOVE Gingham Fresh and I'm so sad I didn't buy a backup bottle! I hope they bring it back. It's such a lovely fresh, light, fruity floral scent. Great for spring or any time of year. I could wear it every day except I don't want to run out of my one bottle!
It's funny because I watched this after I got home from a trip to my Bath & Body Works, where I used a rewards credit to get one of the new Everyday Luxuries travel size perfume sprays. I am HUGE Bath & Body Works fan, they work really well for me both as layering pieces but also on their own. I just have skin that seems to generally hold scent very well. I'm so glad to have the information you presented here but it doesn't surprise me at all. You talked about some of my favorites in this video - Butterfly, Luminous, Pastel Skies, Dahlia and Forever Red. I also really enjoy Fairytale quite a bit. I have so many mists and a few of their perfumes also. I'm currently waiting on a $5.95 Mist sale so I can grab all the new scents that are calling me, and thanks for the recommendation on Vanilla Romance, I added that to my cart!
I own both...high end perfumes and Bath and Body Works FF Mists. I also share your belief, If it smells good, who cares who sells it. Yes, Dahlia smells just like Jessica Simpson's "Fancy," I own both. Brightest Blooms smells like Chanel's "Chance Eau Tendre" I own both of them. Thanks for this video !
I also love Twilight Woods. I've been wearing it for decades. I'm retired now, but when I was working and wore it, it always garnered compliments. It smells expensive, doesn't it?
Great video! I love finding out who is behind some of these great cheapies. I actually put in an order during the semi-annual sale. I just grabbed some random sprays to dip my toes back in as it had been a looong time since I'd done a B&BW order. I got two that were new to me; Fiji Sunshine Guava-Tini and Calypso Clementine (already really liking this one). Also got a longtime favourite, the very simple White Citrus. I had also intended to get my much beloved Pearberry but that literally sold out as I was checking out. Oh well, maybe I'll get lucky the next time it comes around 😅
I use bbw body creams daily and layer with perfumes from elsewhere. The scent of Vanilla romance is marvelous. Pastel skies.is also great for layering. The only thing that holds me back from the mists is I like fragrance that can last my whole work day without reapplying. Still bbw is an amazing value.

I definitely want to try Forever Red. I’m glad I’m not the only one spreading the news about how underrated some of the BbW scents are!

Niche snobs sounds like.. funny thing is .. BBW is a true niche brand.. 🤷🏽♀️

For Dahlia: I love this scent and it reminds me of a perfume I once had : ‘Safari’
I remember Ralph Lauren Safari! Great scent and a gorgeous bottle!
I just bought Gingham Fresh at the SAS. It is so pretty.

Avon does such a great job at this! Love seeing your Avon hauls!

I want this one too! I have liked every single fragrance made by Laurent Le Guernac that I have tried.
BBW has so many good scents. Today I'm wearing Gingham Love with BS Fantasy Intense. I have most of the ones you showed.
Thanks for sharing your fragrances 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🤩

I’m waiting on the next 5.95 sale too. I hoping to try platinum.
This was a really great video. Thank you for sharing this information about the B & BW body sprays. 😊
I’m glad you liked it!

I buy BBW the mist and edp
I do buy bbw, niche, designer. The down side is that they add up very quickly, started last year and have like 40 😅
I also love Twilight Woods. I've been wearing it for decades. I'm retired now, but when I was working and wore it, it always garnered compliments. It smells expensive, doesn't it?
It does!
I do too, one of my longstanding go-tos. It's beautiful
Dahlia= lighter/softer CH Good Girl.
Pink Pineapple Sunrise= Dole Whip from Disneyland 🍍🍦
Thanks for the vid!
Dahlia is my number one favorite!
I have the Bath and Body Works Butterfly 🦋 in the body cream and I love it.
Great video! I love finding out who is behind some of these great cheapies.

Dahlia doesn't smell like CH Good Girl (at all) as I wear that daily, but it does smell like RL Safari.
You are the second person to mention this. I think I have a sample of safari, I’ll check it out!
Vanilla Romance is such an amazing line! You could sell it to me at a much higher price and I’d buy it! 😅
I just added it to my cart! Sold lol
I’m a sucker for aquatics
Me too
The way you pronounced Ermenides's name is correct! It's not like the American "Elias".
Thanks! I’m usually way off
So many wonderful scents and favorites of mine! Many people don't realize that B&BW uses "real" perfumers that create more expensive scents.
Exactly!
