    Looks like the horses don’t particularly like this, the poor guard, thank goodness there was another guard next to him to help him. Hope he recovers well!!

    Very well handled situation. My heart went out to the soldier who was feeling faint; I'll bet it was something the guys never let him forget! I hope everything turned out well for him.

    Well done to everyone involved, not only caring for the trooper, but doing so in a manner as not to scare his or any other of the magnificent horses. True professionalism and compassion, but we wouldn't expect any thing else.

      That has to be the most ridiculous statement ever made. To be more concerned about pomp and circumstance over a man's well being can only be described as maleficence. Why did it take so long to see to this man's well being. He could have easily been helped down from his horse and supported as he was walked off the field to a caregiver. Another horse rider could have taken the empty horses reigns and held the horse in place or walked it off the parade field. What if he and fallen while they were pretending nothing was wrong and cracked his head.
      Maybe it is time to reconsider all the needless money spent on purchasing, feeding, stabling these show horses not to even speak about the Vet. bills. Why should the British Taxpayers shoulder the financial burden so Charles can maintain useless and expensive pomp and circumstance.
      It is outright fabrication to say these are the men who guard the Royal Family. That duty belongs to "Scotland Yard" The royalty and diplomatic protection group is an elite Scotland Yard squad charged with providing 24-hour security for the royal family and London's diplomatic community. Formed in 1983

I would hope Charles continues to par down the number who are are on the public dole like the arrogant Andrew and his wife who was doing a Hunter Biden and got caught attempting to sell political access and like Hunter paid no price for her actions. And the Brits continue to pay for their extravagant lifestyles, while Britain is facing one of the worst economic downturns in years.

      @@nicolad8822 I do Nicola, basic First Aid. Would have assumed a Serviceman would know this. Vasovagal syncope. Tenderfoot Boy Scout stuff: 'You may not always be able to avoid a vasovagal syncope episode. If you feel like you might faint, lie down and lift your legs. This allows gravity to keep blood flowing to your brain. If you can't lie down, sit down and put your head between your knees until you feel better.'

      @@johnbobson1557they are not allowed to dismount. Also, getting off a horse while keeping that horse, the fainted soldiers horse and lifting a 200lb dead weight man off a horse would have been infinitely more dangerous and bloody stupid. He stopped him from falling off his horse and kept two horses steady… but there always have to be critics.. I would have, they should have.. well, you’re not a bloody King’s Guard are you. So shush.

      Horses are so intuitive and sensitive. I wish they would move Trooping the Colour to a cooler month for their's and the guards' sake.

      @@tessdurberville711 I agree. It would be kinder to everyone including the horses. They know someone is going to fall out and I think it's foolish to put these men through this in hot weather. Makes sense to change to cooler temps.

      They can't. You can't make sudden, unexpected movements among animals that densely packed together. It could result in injury to soldiers and horses alike. They handled it calmly and well.

    Could be all sorts of reasons for him going dizzy. I doubt it's drink as they were at it for days previous in rehearsals. Those uniforms although not uncomfortable are heavy.

      @@solveiglandvikbrg9103 The only suggestion of drunkenness is from you. I mentioned beer drinking because it acts as a diuretic, especially in hot weather, and can lead to dehydration. The soldier may have been feeling faint as a result.

    C'est du sadisme pur et simple vis à vis des hommes et de la maltraitance vis à vis des chevaux 😢. Rester des heures entières, engoncés dans leurs uniformes, casques et autre bonnet d’ours à crever de chaud, et les pauvres bêtes idem au garde àvous, inadmissible 😢.     This should have been handled immediately. This "show must go on" attitude is horrible when someone gets sick. Needs to rethink that attitude...medical staff needs to be on hand for emergency.

      It was handled, that’s why the senior officer was beside him. We didn’t see the start of the poor guard’s faintness/illness but I’ve seen something like this before and as soon as it’s noticed by or brought to the attention of a senior officer they go directly to the sick guard to assess the situation. When the camera zoomed in initially there were 2 senior officers by the guard.

    I find this so infuriating. I personally feel this breeches human rights in so many ways. These soldiers have to wear a uniform that is most likely uncomfortable at the best of times let alone in sweltering heat. And they aren’t even allowed the dignity to fucking faint properly? Fainting to attention? What utter nonsense. All probably commands from the royal family. Who I guarantee won’t give a toss for the welfare of their guards. It’s quite disgusting.

      This is so not true. I have watched many videos and they are all well cared for-man, woman, and horse. Momentary dizziness can affect any one. It has nothing to do with lack of care.

      It's happened to me but luckily not on a horse but crossing a road u meant to drink 3 litres of Water away hopefully person on horse is ok
