  • After many attempts we have finally found...The One. We have tried a few different Dehumidifiers over the last several months in our RV and we just were never totally satisfied....until Now!!! A dehumidifier is an ABSOLUTE must in an RV, and we believe that this Toshiba fits the bill. The Toshiba TDDP5013ES2 is a beast and does that job awesomely. Come along as we show you just how cool this thing truly is.

    Excellent review!! Always buy a dehumidifier that is bigger than you need.

    Have you ever thought of connecting the drain hose from your dehumidifier to your clean water tank? Seeing that you are pulling water out of the air, you won't have any of the stuff that tap water has.
    I'm actually surprised that modern RVs don't have them permanently installed

      Tbh no we didn't think of that. It is a good idea. Thanks for watching

    I have this in my house, it's awesome, I was amazed at how much water was in the tank after 1 day, I run mine for about 5 hours a day now, and it's full after 3 days.

      We too were shocked at the amount of water this thing pulls, especially compared to the old ones we had. Thank you for watching.

    Is it loud? Do you still use it? Any issues as of now?
    I really need something like this but for the inside of my house for a small area. I was trying to find one that is made out of metal for strudiness and longevity. I have researched quite a bit. I dont mind spening the money for a good quality one that will work well for a long time. I need it in the bedroom. Especially for the winter. I hope someone has an idea and they could give me a suggestion?!
    Thanks!

    How big is your rv? We’re 23’ and 8’ wide. We’re gonna try one, we’re under 200 sq ft. We picked up one rated for 550 sq ft. Came back from a trip and had to pull the slide in, in pouring rain. As good as seals are, water comes with it. Dried it up, but I’d rather have something running than nothing to help. Nice rig by the way, we did get that same dehumidifier for our boys game room. It’ll be perfect

      This Beacon is 40' . We never knew how much moisture came into an rv just naturally, it's just not something one thinks of. But now knowing that we will always have a dehumidifier in here. We pretty much run it year round, and the amount of water it collects is crazy. Thank you for watching.

    BUT ARE YOU RUNNING AN AC TOO? Do you have the windows open or closed?

    • @HappyTailsRVing
      @HappyTailsRVing  Рік тому

      yes, but not all the time as you are quite aware i am sure. the times we don't run the AC or just in a very humid area we have found this to help immensely. Hope this helps

      Not as of yet, we did have a light tan on the bottom maybe a light algae but that only happened once and we have not seen it since.
