8:10 Dynaudio sound systems were seriously underrated. Might not have the same brand cache of Burmester or Harmon Kardon, but when it came to sound quality they were really in a league of their own. Theres a reason Dynaudio were picked for the sound system in the Bugatti Veyron and Chiron.

Absolute dream car. I had a mk4 GTI and a regular MK7 TSI with the latter having such superb balance. Even with the tiny 1.4t it's such a joy to drive. Rigid, efficient, and even a little playful. But this is 🤯🤯
So I got a 3 door manual lowered performance. I am lucky I live here in Germany. It's a 2015 and everyday is a fun day. It pops as standard and it rips most cars apart. Do the neighbours hate me..maybe but it's an amazing car and I now get it.

Good to see you back. I'm still not a fan of touchscreen operated heating and volume controls. They should have their own dedicated physical buttons, it's just easier. Also, why not put an idrive type of control to operate the screen whilst driving. Trust me, touchscreens are a major distraction.
Thanks for the video. I like 8 headlights better than 8.5. Also, the infotainment on 8 feels like part of the dash but on 8.5 it looks out of place and like a big screen attached like a Tesla. I think VW didn't wish to redesign the whole dash since it would've been costly. The only thing I like better about 8.5 is the added hp.
Keep bringing the content I just bought a 2022R but wanting for dealership to finish with paperwork. It takes a while (Japan). Loved all your work you did with your R. Think I watched each episode atleast twice.
The oily bits are great. I have a manual 380 (a US spec with all the autobahn options and a manual box). Had a nightmare with the infotainment constantly calling support for no reason. Other than that it’s fantastic.
Thanks for your VW content and I want to see more! Those wheels look a lot better than the MKV they are representing. I never liked the stock MKV wheels personally. I also prefer the old side-bar GTI badge over the letters on this one. That is a nice bump in HP to 265! Why did it restrict the drive modes?
The most imported thing is to test it on the B roads. So from the review, i still don't understand "what is it like to DRIVE". Hope to see it once you test it in the UK.
Ahhh my jcw clubman does this in 4.4 stock and smokes the VW. However my tune does it under 4… not sure why no one talks about this car and just the GTI
Is there a way to upgrade the 2022 R infotainment system to help responsiveness? I also hope there is a way to swap 2022 R steering wheels with 2025, if they come out with actual buttons.

I loved it in my MK7 GTI. One of the best I’ve experienced in a small car. Even put it above the Bang and Olufsen in my current 8Y.
100% my mk7.5 golf r did not have it as standard so I got it retrofitted night and day difference and the bass was on another level
