Love your vlogs you two are the sweetest couple and wow you really covered some land those hikes are intense! I love your commentary you’re genuinely chatty and silly fun 😊
Gr8 Yosemite video. I went there in '89, drove to Glacier Point and back, did some moderate hiking and saw quite a few deer wandering in the valley. My biggest day of hiking ever was at Bryce Canyon--a tough hike because once you hike down into the Canyon, you realize the only way out is to hike back up, and I was sooo lucky, as soon as I returned to my Camry the skies opened up and it poured--my entire hike was dry, but the weather can change fast there. Because Bryce Canyon is so high, I drove their from Phoenix stopping at both rims of the Grand Canyon and prior to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley so by the time I got to Bryce my lungs were well adjusted to the altitude---and I was quite proud to hike well when I was already 52 years old in '13. I've camped with my folks in tents, tent trailers, and finally my parents' 23 foot Wilderness trailer and also stayed in Cabins at Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon. When my daughter was "yiddle", my wife and I bought her an indoor two person pup tent and one of us would spend the night 'camping' with her and she loved it--and now almost 25, her entire life like ours and my parents before me, and my maternal grandmother, celebrates the outdoors and nature. Your video also "rocked"when it came to your cooking--your style and presentation made my mouth water, lol, especially your wraps--when I can, I make something similar -- a kale, carrot, broccoli and crouton wrap made with Spinach Tortilla. I call that "summer" food since I live in Phoenix. My wife once made (being from Mexico, where I met her while I was teaching several tourism courses), a Xmas Mexican buffet dinner for my Mom and oldest brother, and his wife who were visiting our home in Phoenix. Loving nature as much as we do, we bought a home on a community park which had a small hiking and biking trail and gr8 desert mountain vistas. I subscribed to your channel and I plan on enjoying more of your travels. I applaud how mature both of you are, traveling while young and teaching how you travel as well. I am prejudiced, because until I retired I taught tourism courses, mostly systems courses, when I say travel is greater than any material wealth imaginable, because material wealth can be lost (usually to designed obsolescence especially our transportation) but your travel memories will always be yours and your bond for life. So glad you got to enjoy Yosemite and there weren't any wildfires during your stay. You guys were badasses doing all those hikes! That rattlesnake was freaking huge. I live up here and can say this lovely video truly did the beauty of the park justice!
It's beautiful there!! I'd love to see it sometime. Whenever we take a trip that requires a lot of walking if I'm wearing to wrong shoes it throws my whole body off:(
"It's a mix between camping and glamping" I wonder if you still believe that 😂nice vlog! I went just a couple weeks after y'all for the first time and enjoyed the Stoneman Cottages at Curry Village which I highly recommend on your next visit. I did the same Glacier Point hike but in the opposite direction so I could see it at sunset. Some nice hikers drove me back down to the valley. Buffet was pricey... I mostly ate at Curry Village and at Mountain Room. Still, the cooked meals looked yummy. Cheers!
I had a good laugh the 2nd time you said you weren't going to hike but then you were hiking 😅 way to be a trooper! Thanks for the fun video. I am going to Yosemite next week for my bday and I cant wait!! We might do the 4 mile trail too
New subscriber here. Hi. Loved this. This video is making me want to go to Yosemite. Thank you for sharing your adventure. Now on to your other videos.
So excited to see this drop because your camping vlogs are my favorite!! Just wondering if you guys were able to shower while you were out there and if so at what camps were showers available?
I love your videos. My hubby and I are in our upper 60’s and just bought a converted Sprinter van that we’re cleaning up to hit the road . My question is what month of the year were you here in this video?? It looks perfect In weather and not too busy. I too get blisters with too much walking. Anyhow let me know the month please.
I looked at some reviews for Housekeeping Camp and it looks like a health hazard to stay there. I personally can’t take the risk lol. Glad y’all had a good experience.
@@ChantyMarieVlogs next time you should check it out! And Columbia state park. It’s small but cute. Also go up to Pinecrest lake! It’s sooo pretty has camping and the hike around the lake is super pretty and easy.
This is a few years older model Fitbit! It’s sort of basic compared to some things they have now but I like it! And I have a whoop for more sports / health tracking

Yes there one one that started pretty close but it didn’t effect us! Thanks for watching! 🤗🤗
It's beautiful there!! I'd love to see it sometime.

Thanks for subscribing! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Love Yosemite so much! Also, prob not the smartest idea breaking in new shoes on a big trip like that!
Yeahhh definitely 🙈🙈
Where did you find the Cava spicy hummus? Restaurant or store? I need that in my life! Thanks for taking us along! It looks like a lovely trip.
From Whole Foods! It was on sale too!
Oh this was fun! Thanks!
So excited to see this drop because your camping vlogs are my favorite!! Just wondering if you guys were able to shower while you were out there and if so at what camps were showers available?
Thank you so much! Yes I showered at housekeeping camp I think that’s the only showers there! But there’s a longggg line have to wait a while 😬
I love your videos. My hubby and I are in our upper 60’s and just bought a converted Sprinter van that we’re cleaning up to hit the road . My question is what month of the year were you here in this video??
It looks perfect In weather and not too busy. I too get blisters with too much walking. Anyhow let me know the month please.
That is so fun! This was 4th of July week, it is wayyyy less busy this year because there is a reservation system now!
For $600 a night that hotel room looked like sh*t
Ok thank you because I thought the same 😭 was so dirty too
You guys should have taken the Four Mile Trail to Glacier Point and save all that gas 😂
I looked at some reviews for Housekeeping Camp and it looks like a health hazard to stay there. I personally can’t take the risk lol. Glad y’all had a good experience.
😂😂😂 ok this is very validating to me. I don’t think I would stay there again 😭
When you have been to Yosemite have you ever gone down to Sonora or anywhere near there? I live there so just curious 🖤
No I don’t think I’ve been there!

The rafting is open right now? Online it says it’s closed. We’re going up Friday.
I believe they closed it right after I went because the water level got too low
What kind of watch do you use? Looking to upgrade.
This is a few years older model Fitbit! It’s sort of basic compared to some things they have now but I like it! And I have a whoop for more sports / health tracking
How bad are allergies out in Yosemite this time of year? Around August mine go crazy
I don’t think they were bad in early July, it’s just the smoke in the valley that bothers me!
@@ChantyMarieVlogs oh the smoke would kill me 🤣 I'd be sneezing my head off
Headboard was damaged at night. lol
How much the rafting rental in Yosemite?
It was I believe 30 per person but I think it is closed now, they only do it when the water level is not too high or too low
How is this tent bear safe? Yikes
