Two years after the release of his highly successful album Dolce Vita, Jonas Kaufmann reaffirmed his love affair with Italian music with a special concert at the Waldbühne - Berlin’s renowned stage-beneath-the-stars. In what can be seen as a wondrous zenith of his dedication to Italy and her music, the concert has become one of this year’s biggest classical music events. Sony Classical is proud to announce the release of the magical concert on DVD, Blu-ray, CD.

It ain´t just coincidence that there´s a big tenor trio composed of Pavarotti, Carreras and Domingo you BOZO.. and Kaufmann is actually closest to Pavarotti in all voice quality terms from all of them!!
He is my favorite. Such an expressive voice. His tone is wonderful. He brings tears to my eyes.
For those who know the story of Turandot, and hear Nessun Dorma for the first time, there is no recovery from the exquisite impression it leaves on your spirit.

When he sang the same piece at The Proms in London the audience restrained from clapping until the music had actually finished - a compliment to Turandot. Kaufmann certainly knew then that he'd "nailed it" but he had to wait for the appreciation.

I went with my father to the home of the late, great Sherrill Mills as a child. I thought I knew what a beautiful tenor voice was but you have been a revelation. I have your CDs in my car and listen there, on UA-cam, and on my stereo system. You are a great artist and a great person and I feel so fortunate that I have found you. You are a revelation.
