- Hello and welcome to my storytime video about why I started stripping!
Please note that this is my personal experience and not at all a reflection of every stripper's experience entering the industry. There are a plethora of different reasons why people start stripping. And at the end of the day, stripping is a job and sex work is work.
I chose to become a stripper rather than be broke/borrow money in order to live (just like starting a job in any other field, I was there for the purpose of making money). I was never forced into it, and made the decision all by myself. I choose to continue working in the industry because I love what I do - these days I have multiple skills and certifications that could allow me to comfortably live without having to strip, but I choose to take my clothes off for money. 💖

I was writer too! When I realised I actually didn’t love writing 🤦🏻♀️ I became an international flight attendant. “Just for a year” turned into 5 years now! Funny how things happen and the universe sets you on the right path ❤️ .

That’s so intriguing. It takes a lot of guts to say you don’t like something you once loved. I’m in a similar boat rn. Not as transparent with myself though. I think this needs to be discussed more. At 18 we’re always pushed to pick a career but at 18 that’s so young and you’re still figuring things out.
at some point we need a book when it's all done. You'd turn out a bestseller I swear.

Thankyou for sharing your story...my story with the industry was survival i was 16 living in Sydney from Melbourne and McDonalds just sacked me...i was walking back to the youth refuge i was living in at kingscross and i said to a bouncer at the front of a strip club mucking around i just got the sack from maccas are you hiring?... so i went in there and did my " first lap" dance for $50 i was wrapped..and thought wow this could get addictive!!!

I studied professional writing & editing, too, but couldn't find work, as well...Then I went back to study and did media, PR/marketing and digital media courses...Finally got a marketing job offer earlier this year, but taking a break from study/looking for work right now as I'm moving to a rural area...Hoping to live off the land (permaculture), work from home and have some peace and quiet, away from the rat race. :) Love your vlogs. :)

I get what you mean by not asking someone specific questions ppl are asking but to be fair the question about how did u get started or into a specific occupation is a valid question to ask someone in all types of jobs. All of the stripper channels I watch that's legit the number 1 question and Noone ever mentioned it as a problem question. But I guess it depends on the person and what their past was like because not everyone's past looks the same.. anyhow, I enjoy your channel, you're beautiful and this might be a dumb question but I know you work in Brisbane do you know Rosie? Lol ❤
From my experience I know it can be a sensitive question for some workers (keep in mind strippers on UA-cam/social media are out about their occupation and pretty open re talking about their experiences in the industry but not everyone is, many strippers are actually quite private). Just thought I would mention it as I was actually quite surprised that it hadn't really been commented on before on UA-cam 😊 Thank you 💖 I don't work in Brisbane x

Hi, I can tell you that no work in this world is bad. Our body is physical and no one is taking away any part of your self. So why fear. In this world ppl hv extra marital affairs, they sleep around in support system grp which can hamper the actual relationships. Strippers are actually taking the burden on themselves and saving this kind of crimes for not letting it affect....ginger you're the most beautiful soul.

I was thinking the same thing as another commenter because U writing a book about the people U meet stripping would be awesome......Just change their names so they can't sue U. .......I remember reading Memoirs of a Geisha ( a very famous book) and I assumed the person writing the book was really a Geisha at some point.......It was a great read but I was disappointed when I found out it was fictional.....I think it would be fascinating to not just here about your life but regulars who frequent stripper clubs and learning some are nice guys who are just lonely and others may also be nice guys but it is the only way they can relax........And the regular one or two guys who are just deviates ......That sort of thing.
A girl I met at uni who became a friend started as a topless waitress then stripping and met a nightclub owner who became her sugar daddy. She encouraged me to join her and I was tempted but I was super shy and didn’t have the confidence and my boyfriend wasn’t keen.
$500 a bad night … I need to dance in a different city 😅

Not sure, I have never asked about age! But I have danced with some absolutely gorgeous women who were much older than me. Everyone in the industry is beautiful in their own way ❤️
