NOTE: as many commenters have pointed out, I wanted to say again that the Coros arm band doesn't store data from workouts - it just projects HR to nearby devices of your choice.
Our device is capable of offline data storage at the moment. Expanding the usage of the Heart Rate Monitor to more sports (including offline data storage for swimming, etc.) will be a consideration of ours in 2024. 👍
Hi, can you connect it to another brand of watch than Coros? Thank you.@@COROSGlobal
Is it necessary? I remember that my garmin strap did it this way, but the coros arm band broadcasts direct to my coros watch I think? So I'm not sure what storing the data would give me?
Great review.
Nice, thanks for the review
Thank you!
Great review. Will get one if I can connect it to my Garmin 265.
It works with all Bluetooth devices. I have fenix 7 and works perfectly
You do a fantastic job.
Thank you!
The thing I like about the Verity Sense is that you can store your workout on the device and you don't have to have a watch or be near your phone. How does the Coros know that you started a workout and will it store the workout until you connect to PC?
Great review btw
You can't record your workouts on the Coros device itself. The advantage of the Verity Sense is that I can leave my watch at home or in the Crossfit changing room and still have my workout recorded. Very handy, although you do have to fiddle with the buttons to record the workout on the device itself. But hey, recording to internal memory is just two presses away.
@@jacekwieczorek7586 and how do your watch gets back that recorded data?
Thank you! And just as the other person said, the chorus is just a one dimensional device in that way. It doesn't store anything - just projects HR to wherever you want it. Thanks!
@@fitgearhunterCan you use this Coros band on Polar app? I returned my Coros Pace 3 bc of its shtty app and inaccurate readings
Forêt my question on you'r other video, now i have my answer 😂
Would you say this is about the same accuracy as a fenix 7 pro?
game changer for me. I do ironman, but I dislike wearing a chest strap. On the bike I have a bike computer, but with no chest strap, I can't see my heart rate without continually twisting my wrist. This gives me something I can wear both in training and in competition.
If youre using Garmin, I think you can broadcast your hr to your bike computer
I got it and i love it!
Thanks for the info! Can you use it in the pool?
Yes I should have mentioned that it is waterproof! Optical sensors don't work super great underwater, so I can't comment on the accuracy there, but it does function underwater.

Thanks for your question! At the moment, our external heart rate monitors cannot be used during swimming modes. This is because the Bluetooth connection in water is very unreliable and will give inaccurate data. We may change this in a future update when the algorithm is more reliable but for now you will not be able to use it.
This is very surprising considering it’s using the same sensor as Pace 3 and the Apex 2 series. Gives me hope that the measurements can be fixed in those watches via updates.
Can i use this armband with my coros watch off my wrist since i do a jiu jitsu and its contact heavy?
Oh yes definitely. I rarely actually wear my watches for harder CrossFit workouts
Awsome will this work with suunto vertical ?
Can and has! I used it to connect to the Race many times.
Thanks man
Hey, thank you so much for your positive review of the COROS Heart Rate Monitor. We really appreciate the kind words about our product, thank you sharing your experience!
Well deserved! Love the product. Thanks for saying 'Hi'!
A joke. I bought this and requested a return a few minutes after getting it from Amazon. The sensor may or may not be good. That is entirely irrelevant if it hurts to wear and I will never wear it. My biceps are small compared to body builders and weightlifting buffs. It will not open up large enough to fit comfortably. It is painful to wear. They label the strap as size medium when in reality it's the only size available.
