Very nice rocks you have down under there. You got a sweet polish. Fun. The little tub under saw, just fill with water to drag the blade through. You'll get a shower without an apron or faceting yourself a splashguard, but no dust. In the end you'll want lapidary oil. Washes with dishsoap. Reuse by filtering through cloth ;] Happy tumbling
Love the rockhounding specimens. It is quite a tedious process, but the alternative would be a machine with bands with the different grits! Now, you can think about making specimens for jewelry, with possible native wood stands. Thank you and Clint for sharing the beauty of nature in Australia.😊
Nice rocks Krissy, I don't know why we don't make more jewellry out of West Australian rocks. Some of them are just as beautiful as diamonds, if not more so. Keep up the good work!
We have a wide range of beautiful rocks in WA and incredible rock formations. One area that I found incredibly beautiful was Desert Queen Baths, south of Telfer.
Hi krissy & Clint. Clint’s a handy man. I think if you cut a hole saw at the back of that Stone cutter and welded a round tube the same size as a vacuum cleaner.. Then attach a vacuum cleaner and turn it on when you’re cutting those stones.!! I don’t think 🤔 your issue with Dust..!! Will definitely be next to nun to worry about. Well it’s a theory.. Cheers Tony.Famo59🍻⛏️
Hey Krissy and Clint, have you looked into silver and gold jewellery tumbling using a metal shot in the tumbler instead of the abrasive grits. Great show as always.
All those pretty rocks you should look into getting a tile cutter I think it can cut rocks just fine the blade is going underwater under the table keeping down all that dust just a thought but thank you for all your hard work and hope Clint is doing good in the doggies see you on the next one
Hi Krissy, another varied video from you. you are becoming quite the Entrepeneur. Bye the way, who won the Bluetti Fridge? Just in case you don't make any vids for a few weeks, Merry Christmas to you and Clint. And the Dogs. Barry M. Albany
You may have already thought of it but I think it would look good to cut thin wafer pieces of the rock and make like a mosaic table or something like that.
If you can’t buy the proper brushes, you can modify larger brushes to fit. I do this all the time. Find larger brushes through EBay then grind them down to fit. Did an orbital sander I couldn’t get brushes for.
I haven't seen you all for a while, as we were in Iceland and Norway. Back when we were in Oregon, we tumbled agates. We kept the 'mud' and sunk bones in it. After a while, we had artificial fossils. Give it a try. Just keep it wet.
Another great informative video, we also collect mineral (rocks) but the Canadian shield has not the variety for easy picking you have. Merry Christmas from Canada..
I was starting to get worried and UA-cam had moved you down to the bottom of my list, the weather looked terrible over there with rain and cold, I arrived in Coober Pedy last night in 40C heat so I am taking it easy today and will check for tomorrows temp to see if I stay another day or not, all that rock polishing seems to be very complicated and way more difficult to do than metal detecting, I don't think I will get into it. Have a good day. Leon
New subscriber here....love the tumbling stone.....meteor macx tumbling video's....tumbling meteorite's, England 🇬🇧.....love the channel great content......free tumbled meteorite's on my channel 🎉
Look for a rock saw that uses water, you will not have the dust. Those thinner rocks that you were leaving behind, I would make cabochons out of them. I wire wrap and I would love to be able to find those thinner stones for pendants. I just started my channel not on this account I am writing from right now. I have been showing how to wire wrap. You should get copper wire and wire wrap the smaller stones
@bridgwll yes I realize that, I wasn't speaking of a big one, the one I have was a cheap rock rascal. And my cabbing machine is handmade. There are ways to make one and Clint seems like the kind of guy that could build one. I looked for one yesterday but the place I got my little saw I couldn't find but I did find one for under $50 there maybe people seling secondhand the water would cut down on wear of the blade, just have to empty and dry after use. I love watching them some of those stones they find would be wonderful for jewelry and a second income if they could cab it out, they could wire wrap odd shapes and if he could build a cabbing machine they could cut different sizes to glue into a pendant tray or put a bail on the top of smaller tumbled stones. Chrissy could put small stones in resin. I just wan them to succeed, I keep praying for that huge chunk of gold. Wish I could help get them a saw and a cabbing machine. How about a water tile saw, I bet they can find a used one of those.
Good for you. I must admit that i don't care about rocks, well i like opals, diamonds and that kind of rocks. but why i follow your channel is the gold so i will stop following you. All the best to both of you. goodbye.
Very interesting episode...the brown rock with the single white stripe running diagonally is my favourite...👌🇬🇧👍
I can see why its a process!! Great video!! Cheers!!
Thank you for putting this video together! They look fantastic!

Streaky bacon rocks!! Thanks for editing it all into one vid :)

Great outcome for the rock hound in you.
Well done Chrissy 👏👏

Rock on
Morning Clint n Chrissy, been missing my Sunday morning outback gold fever fixes. Hope all is well. Cheers from over here👍🍺
Another great video guy’s 👍 thanks for sharing

The solution to reducing the tumble time seems to be a saw and coarse wet grinding setup.

On the tap were you are washing the rocks if you connect a hose pipe it will help with the rinsing fabulous work look really nice

But I don’t see very many rocks to choose from!🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏
Those turned out awesome. Are you going to offer some up for sale?
You may have already thought of it but I think it would look good to cut thin wafer pieces of the rock and make like a mosaic table or something like that.

was thinking the same ... buy brushes for a good quality machine and make them fit by sanding if required ... those brushes look as soft as chalk ...
@ yeah you need to be careful as you remove material very quickly
Carbonbrushes Australia sells them as well. Then they can search either by brand of machine, or by image, or by size of the brush.
How can i join your exploration I can be your helper, I am from Zambia in Africa 🌍🌍
what do you do with the rocks after?.....sell them?
Never never have I made a comment but I love you in Clips and I hope you do the mother load split that way. Have a good 2025. Love you both.

Wondered what you are both up too!❣️
Do you make basic Jewellery shapes
Love your vlogs 😊 normally i see rocks being cut and the people use water with the saw does your saw not need water?
Ever considered turning smaller rocks and turn them into jewelry? It is more work, but you can also make a bigger profit.
Great video, my girls like rock tumbling rock also. Do you sell any of your raw rocks.
Well I was just wondering what you two were up ti..
Those are called " Brushes" ;-)

I would leave.
Wouldn't a wet tile saw be better for cutting rocks? At least the dust wouldn't be a problem.
I've read that some banded iron formations are the oldest rocks on earth. cheers
I've just sent a load of meteorite's tumbled to poverty prostspecting in Australia 🇦🇺 waterside Victoria
Hi
I always thought motor brushes had springs to keep them against the commutator ?? No way should they wear out in a matter of hours anyway.
Nice!! You guys found any meteorites?
That would be a good $$$ find.
I collect dino bone very pretty agate is not rare

World economy gonna collapse, one ''expert'' says gold will hit $50,000 an ounce

The cutter was within their budget.

@@s38hyler I agree, they definitely need some sort of wet saw and wet grinder...
take your detectors with you, you might find the unexpected
Just remember you need to also wash and maintain that vehicle so you're able to go out and do those adventures
