Alex, do you lightly sand each piece before glueing up? Also what blade do you use please? You make it look so bloody easy, and looks terrific when finished! Cheers, Sean

For bowls I use flat blades NIQUA Ultra #1 (for 6mm) or #3 for thicker wood. Yes I lightly sand each piece using sandpaper.

What type of wood do you recommend? Is it 1/4" plywood?
