Featuring the commanding rock-goddess voice of the unfairly ignored Betsy Palmer..(not to be confused with the actress of same name, though she was gorgeous enough to be an actress with that Christina Applegate-ish face). Betsy led 3 short-lived bands in the 1980s & '90s -- the other 2 were The Raunchettes (all-girl punk) and The Phenobarbidols (indie/psychedelia). Too many great talents from the distant past have yet to be heard by the masses. Betsy's powerful voice was right up there with Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders, Patti Smith of the Patti Smith Group and, yeah, if you can imagine Cher fronting a grunge or punk band -- there was even a little Cher in that voice(!). ....When I figure out how to post songs on UA-cam, I'll put up "Motor Takes To Sink", probably the most powerful performance by Betsy and this band.
