When I was younger I used to make a music CD for the car trips with my friends. I was a metalhead, but not all my friends were so, out of respect for them, I would have a version of "The CD" with pop and rock hits from all the years up until then (let's say 2000-2005). I feel like Tommy found that CD and is turning everything in there into metal. That's the perfect version for me and my daughter today (not so much my wife, but, hey, you can't have it all, haha).

Leave it to Maestro Tommy Johansson to deliver IN SPADES!!!! This is an INCREDIBLE version of that song! His soaring vocals, the keyboards, drums and the guitars are all perfectly used to full effect here! THIS is why i love all of the updated, improved, 'Tommyfied' and Johanssonized' (tm) versions of all our favorite songs from our childhood! This song is a total love letter to the 80's, as evidenced by the Ghostbusters and TMNT t-shirts he's sporting in the video! Definitely a great Fri-YAY when Tommy releases a new cover!

I deleted my comments because but the reactions to my comment did not dissappear along. So I explain what I meant. Tommy likes comments that refer to his music. He doesn't like such things that are so personal like calling him "sweetheart" or "baby" and compliments about him as a man. I follow him since a long time. In former times he used to react on many comments, if possible, to all. But he never reacted on stuff like this. It's obvious, he doesn't like it. That's why I wrote that.

Wonderful Tommy. I am sorry I missed the debut, I have been crying for the last 30 hours after losing Jack Russell of Great White. It is always so hard to lose someone you love, but even more so when they are a very famous person and it’s everywhere on the internet. Jack was not only an exceptional vocalist like you, (many peers say he was the best of that era), he was also, like you a very, loving, kind man. I have friends in the industry so have been blessed to meet hundreds of bands, and I can 100% say, (besides you Tommy), no rock star loved his fans more than Jack Russell!!!! And that is exactly why we loved him, and you so very much. Thank the Lord we have the incredibly music he left us, and the videos to watch. I am so heartbroken.
