In the end you've came up with almost exactly the same deck as I did. I don't have epics like Gorehowl or Shield Slam so I used some other things also I wasn't using whirlwind. Instead 2x Kor'kron + 2x Cruel Taskmaster were enough. This combo is better than Mortal Strike since you can take down spell resistant Spectral Knights. Also Just 1 Worgen and 1 Charge is fine. Fully enraged Worgen does 32 dmg and you should be able to deal remaining during the fight with your weapons. Finally consider Upgrade - if you don't have Gorehowl like me - great synergy with Arcanite Reaper.
I managed with a hunter deck, controlled the game with removals till he was out of cards, then threw King Crushes and LEroys at him, but you need perfect draw for that. The hero abillity helps a lot, it took out at least 16 health.
Funny enough, i got much better at HS just by watching your videos Trump. Nice aura, keep doing it. 23-19 without a single loose, thats so good for me :D

A lot of hunter spells and traps don't target minions and they have sustain damage with their hero ability and refreshing their weapon duribility. It is also a really cheap deck to make. No epics or legendaries needed.
What's the point in acolite of pain on Sapphiron? It's like pricey version of novice engineer which can't draw a card without your help (whirlwind, death bite). Also trying to draw 2 cards most likely make the situation even worse (use the precious boardclearers)

I Killed it with a paladin deck, using Stallag + Feugen + Blessed Champion. To survive, i used Humility, Truesilver Champion, Aldor Peacekeeper, "Get Down", and for the Stallag + Feugen combo, even a redemption. Killed it in the second try.

Paladin would have been a fine class with rocketeer + blessings + double attack value, combined with super high survivability and the 2 most ridiculous weapons in the game (true silver + ashbringer)
Lukas Lundholm But 2 Brawls, 2 Shield Slams and a Gorehowl cost more than a Tirion. Paladin doesn't really have other must have epics. You can use Avenging Wrath and Lay on Hands, but they aren't as neccessary as all of those epics were in this game. If he'd like to do it the cheap way, he could've used a Trap Hunter which doesn't even require any epics or legendaries and that's how I did it after realizing that warrior is going to be useless without epics.
You cant keep board control with just deathrattles, they arent that strong. Part of the strength of deathrattle decks is stuff like the undertaker, baron rivendare, spell combos like rejuvenate etc. You cant really do those when your minions are wiped every turn.
I used deathrattles and managed to beat him. Equality+Unstable Ghoul/Abomination was quite effective and Abomination+redemption also was decent board clear. I used one nerubian egg to make him waste his blizzard, so I could later finish off with Feugen+Stalagg+redemption to get 3 11/11 for one turn. It took me quite many tries before finally beating him though.
If anyone has some dust and is looking for an easy way to do this, just make a deck almost exactly like trump's, but then use alextrasa on Sapphiron into ur combo next turn with worgen for game.
when kor'kron is guaranteed to die on the next turn why would you ever pick that over the mortal strike for the same mana and can potentially do 2 more as a matter of fact at 21:00 you would have been perfectly fine if you had used mortal strike instead of kor'kron

Because it's an ice DRAGON. Dragon resists fire, so fire spells do normal damage. If fairy dragons stayed on the board they'd do six damage a piece, same with any rock moves... Though why weapons don't do double damage is beyond me, maybe they aren't steel?

Why no bloodsail raiders with double upgrade? Pretty sure that can burst harder and more reliably.
I did this with warrior too, but with Grommash, more weapons and no Worgren/Charge/Inner Rage crap.

Acolyte of pain was a bad idea, yes, but you had many chances to charge it in instead of hitting stuff with your face. Which lead to your quick death.

No ashbringer. He did this with the intention of showing how to beat the boss when you have almost no cards, aka budget.
You can't combo Rocketeer with Blessed Champion, since they cost 6 and 5.
